Moving team arrived on time and got everything moved from one house to the other. The actual work was great. However, upon going back to the old house to clean up for the next person I discovered damage to walls and trim beyond a few bumps and such. I reported damage to the manager and was told I would get a call back after he speaks to the team and never heard back. It was definitely frustrating to have to fix the walls and such after the work was completed.***EDIT - a member from the claims department called and actually listened to what happened and offered a partial refund for the damage made to my house. They also offered to send someone out to the house to make the repairs for us.

Extremely last minute they still made it work and didn't try to kill me with price these guys and this company was a blessing no damaged stuff or tore up walls no bad attitudes a great experience i would recommend to any one!

Late to leave a review due to hectic schedule, but they were great!! I moved 6/26/23 and had 3 movers (Julian, Monte, and Kentrell). They were late but that was because they had another client prior to my appointment and the moving time went over for the prior client. Once they arrived, they got down to business! My old apartment had a long hallway + elevator & I had tons of boxes. They moved 9 boxes all at once within 10 mins! I was super amazed at how fast they worked! They disassembled my bed and moved my small couch in no time. Our commute to my new apartment was 1.5 hrs including traffic! But when we arrived, they unloaded within 30-40 mins! I believe the duration of the whole moving process was only 3 hrs! AMAZING. They were awesome guys! Nice. They took great care of my stuff (which I was initially worried about). Nothing was broken or damaged, including my 52" TV. The service was affordable! God bless. I would totally recommend these people to anyone looking to move. I would hire them for future move!

GA Home movers provided excellent service, they were prompt, arrived on time and as promised. They quickly loaded everything, and delivered it on-time, as promised. The price was very reasonable. The furniture was handled very carefully, as were the walls inside our house.Highly recommended.

Movers were friendly and on time. They were careful with my furniture and boxes. They did break one piece of IKEA furniture from wrapping it too tight. Otherwise, an easy move. Upfront pricing was clear with no hidden fees which was very important to me.

UPDATE: "Vladimir" contacted us and blames us for everything. He claimed that we didn't provide any packing materials (blankets, etc.). We provided over $1,000 in heavy duty blankets (over 200-blankets), many of which weren't used. We provided bubble wrap, paper, etc. Vladimir was very disrespectful and condescending. AVOID THIS BUSINESS!We rated Georgia Home Movers (GHM) 5-stars in May 2022. Unfortunately, our unloading experience then was a vast difference than our recent loading experience. First of all, our quoted rate was based on a crew of 5, where at least 1 or 2 showed up an hour or so after the start time. Secondly, the crew was unable to fit the same amount of household goods we had moving in as we did moving out - same size trailer (U-Pack). The trailer wasn't packed tight for transport and several feet of overhead wasn't maximized by the crew either. We requested that the load be secured by section, but the crew ignored us. It was a hot day, so we provided plenty of Gatorade and water. The crew left us with empty plastic bottles all over the exterior and interior of the house - even on the street. The little area we had carpeted in the house was left stained and multiple areas of the house had gouges, scratches, etc. The crew didn't want to be here - they kept on mentioning having to leave for an out-of-state job. Our household goods (including antiques, collectibles and everyday items) were completely destroyed as a result of how the trailer was packed and items shifting. The moving crew on the opposite end were shocked of how the items were loaded onto the trailer - sections were not secured, boxes were already crushed while being loaded and at the end when items could not longer fit in the trailer, items were being thrown carelessly on top. The best part was when they claimed that the trailer was full, left with multiple items in the middle of our driveway and left. Yet, we were still generous and tipped over 30%. We definitely wouldn't recommend based on our experience this second time around. We spent and provided over $1,000 thick moving blankets (many of which weren't used by the crew) and additional supplies (bubble wrap, shrink wrap, etc.).

I cannot recommend this service enough. Darius, Maurice, and Dashon were somehow more careful and faster than any service I've ever used.I don't even want to think how long this move would have taken if it were just me. There's a long path and a narrow staircase they dealt with but they did it professionally and efficiently.Blown away by the price too, perfect option for a budget.Hire them! Georgia Home Movers is a great group of folks!

UPDATE: I got in contact with the claims department and a full refund of moving costs was provided.On the positive side, the movers arrived on time, were friendly, and moved quickly. I initially considered the move a success until I tried to turn on my television and realized it was no longer working as the front panel had been damaged. When you call the company, you are directed to submit all claims via e-mail which is fine. However it has been 4 days since I submitted the claim and have not received any confirmation of receipt or other communication. This is really disappointing because my actual move experience was positive. I would not recommend using this company if your move includes any large electronics. If I had known this in advance, I would have found other means to transport my TVs.

I hired GA home movers to help with my move in December. I have to say the initial booking went very well and was smooth. I was locked in at $160/hour which I thought was pretty good because everywhere else was way more.Overall I'm happy that my stuff got moved, there were no hidden fees, and nothing got broken (like it did last time with Bellhop). But, I had three movers obviously the lead guy was on top of it, the other guy was lazy as hell and kept saying how he hated his job, and the last guy was somewhere in between. I understand that having to move someone out of and into a place with stairs is very annoying and tiring. But, I myself was also working just as hard as the movers which probably should not have been like that but I honestly felt that if I had not done that, I would've been way over the three hours that was allotted me. My biggest complaint was that when we got to the move in location instead of taking some things to my room they just left everything downstairs for me to do it. So I barely have any clothes or shoes or anything in my actual room. But, the lead guy did set up the beds so I guess there's that. Yes, I did still tip generously because although I was annoyed with those things (and also exhausted which I'm sure they were too) I was happy it was over.*Update from 3 stars to 5*After posting this review I was contacted by the owner who wanted to speak about resolving the issue and I declined thinking there was nothing further to be done. But, Vladimir the owner, being the kind person I assume him to be got in contact with me and got more info about the situation and genuinely apologized. I have to say that after speaking to him I can tell he wants to run a respectable company. I was assured the movers received further training (not fired). Vladimir really cares about his customers and business reputation and I really appreciate that because it's not seen too often. I can say although the initial move didn't go as planned after receiving the call from Vlad I would definitely reconsider booking with GA home movers again knowing that it's ran by someone who actually cares about customer satisfaction.

I moved downstairs and across the hall. In addition to my boxes being placed almost everywhere EXCEPT where they were LABELED to go, my washing machine was damaged; the front door no longer seals/closes. I attempted to wash my first load yesterday and got an error message; the water had not been turned back on. When I turned the water back on I almost immediately heard an error alarm. Water then began pouring out of the front of the washing machine. In addition to misplaced boxes AND a damaged washing machine, I was informed by the team leader that he strived for a $100 tip PER PERSON, which made me (and my mother) very uncomfortable. A tip is MY CHOICE, based on the level of service delivered.

I used this company based on the reviews and at the recommendation of a friend. I had a not so big move but I had a big safe that I needed moved so I decided to get 2 trucks one with a lift gate and one regular truck with 5 guys. Guys were very nice some professional and some that would be classified as not so professional but they were young also. Couple days after I had sellers in my new home I noticed that one of my very large TVs was missing. I know I witnessed the young men wrapping it up and placing it on the truck. I decided to walk my house several times to make sure it was not placed somewhere in the home. The TV is missing I hate to use the word stolen but I'm not sure what else to say it's a 86 inch tv in a box. I called and spoke with a gentlemen named Steven he was very rude and accusatory and spoke to me as if I was not a customer with some very serious concerns. It was a very stressful day. I had to close on 2 properties move into a home in between the 2 closing and now I find out that my TV was stolen by someone in this company and the only communication I received was from some rude guy named Steve. He told me my only options were to send a email to
[email protected] and wait 5-7 days for them to respond. So you wanna ask me if you should use this company !!!!! All I can say is beware if you value your property.So after I posted this review a received a threatening phone call phone the company telling me they have my information. I also decided to take my other TV out the box to check the status of it and this is what I found.

Coop and Mario did a excellent job of moving me into my new home. They were very professional and cared for my items as if they were there's. Extra wrap and blankets were used to keep fragile items in tack I was very appreciative. Where other companies lolly gag to make there hourly status quo Georgia Movers gets on it soon as the truck parks. A job that would take others 5 was done in half the time. Great Job! 5 stars

I was referred to GHM by my mother who raved about her move in with them back in January. I will say, I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!! Jermaine/Pope/Erin were the best! The elevator in my building went out while they were moving my things out, while I started stressing they told me not to worry and that they were going get the job done. Get the job done they did, the elevator did come back up by that time they had already moved the majority of things out. I was thoroughly pleased with the job done, and I will definitely be booking with GHM when I purchase my home. Job well done!!
