I paid ************************* ******** dollars to rebuild my transmission * I was given a 1 year or 10 thousand mile warranty * 6 weeks after receiving my truck the transmission started doing the exact same thing which is my truck wouldnt shift to the 4th gear * I returned my truck to ******* and told him the transmission is doing the exact same thing * Its not shifting into 4th gear * He kept putting me off week after week * He finally told me that he has repaired the transmission , but he cant get my truck to start ? I had my truck towed to another mechanic shop to find out why it would not start * The new mechanic shop told me with in a hour , that there was a groud wire disconnected and thats why the truck wouldnt start * They also did a check and told me that the transmission has not been repaired * They said that my truck still needs a transmission * I towed my truck back to Carlton *************************** Transmission) and gave him the receipt from the new shop stating that there was a groud wire disconnected and that why it wouldnt start and my truck still needs a transmisson * It has now been 3 months that I have been waiting and ******* has not fixed my truck and he refuses to return my money * His wife told me that he needs to just return my money * In my opinion ******* is incompetent unprofessional and basically a Con man * I use my truck for work and I have been out of work for 4 months waiting on him to repair my truck * I have contacted a lawyer and I am about to file a law suit * The lawyer told me to 1st file this complaint with the better bussiness bureau * ******* makes up excuses like my truck rims are big or my truck has electrical problems * The other shop said my truck doesnt have electrical problems * There was a groud wire disconnected and that the problem is still that my truck needs a transmission *

Went to get my car looked at took it here they took days to get to my car tried calling them they never would pick up went up there just to get cussed out and belittled I don't recommend this place to anyone if your looking for professional business this is a horrible shop and a horrible experience needless to say I didn't get any work done by them save your time and look somewhere else

This company had my sister car for 6 weeks the first time, 3 weeks and now it’s been another 3 weeks. Have to keep bringing the car back saying it is not the transmission when in fact it was. They should not be a transmission repair shop.

My 90 Silverado transmission was completely shot... Dropped it off with Carlton.. he put in work! A complete rebuild with new torque converter.. I got to say it's the best performing 700 r4 ive ever had. It pulls and shifts like it just came off the assembly line at the factory ???

Im new to palmetto and didnt have a mechanic i trusted so i rolled the dice and went there. The repair was quick and was pleasently inexpensive. Happy to have a mechanic i can trust.
