The lines were tremendous did scan and go scanned all my own items went up to customer service to check out after scanning all my items-Jesus, at Customer Service refused to do the order and told me to go wait on a line. That made no sense- scan your items just to wait online?
This Walmart is the worst

Ordered tires online, they were delivered to Oakwood Walmart. I showed up for my 11am appt. I waited outside while they installed two tires, the front driver’s side tire was the donut spare.
When they pulled the vehicle back around, I noticed that the spare was still on the van. I asked the guy who was driving it “why?”, and his response was “I don’t know, I didn’t work on it.”
Fine…I went into the service dept, and when they handed me my keys, they said nothing. When I asked about the new, uninstalled full sized tire still laying in the black of my van, they replied, “the lug posts are stripped” and that one was broken completely off, and they had left the spare on with only 3 lug nuts on it.
They blamed the guy who installed the spare, yet WALMART broke the post off, and sent me on my way with only 3 lugs on the donut spare.
They had zero concern that they had thrusted me into a potentially dangerous situation. They didn’t care one iota, that I might be injured or possibly killed.
They gave me zero consultation- “Sir, your van is not safe to drive”, or “We recommend that you have it towed to a repair shop”- NOTHING!
I made it, but a second lug stud broke off on the ride back to Braselton!
They treated me like “We got his money, let him deal with it”. The communication among the employees is barely existent. The lead tech or maintenance manager, whatever his title is, treated me like it was my fault his techs broke my lug post.
I used to use this shop for oil changes, but that ends today. I’ve never gotten tires installed there, and I won’t ever again.
I was also not the only one customer in the shop, complaining about the lack of consideration and inability to communicate.
While I was dealing with my situation, another customer made the shop remove the newly installed tires from his vehicle, because of his personal dissatisfaction.
This shop is incompetent, inconsiderate, and unaccountable. There seems to be a disconnection between the shop and the customer.
A dead customer is NOT a repeat customer, and you threw me into a potentially life threatening situation. I’m lucky I’m here to write this review.
DO BETTER WALMART OAKWOOD!

Compared to other Walmarts in the Hall or Gwinnett County area, the checkout experience here is poor. Only four registers were open, and the service was extremely slow. The staff at the registers seemed focused on getting a paychecks rather than assisting customers. I am not in favor of self-checkout, and this location definitely needs improvement in this area.

Wanted to give a quick shout out to Misty (sorry didn't get her last name)! My mom went into the store looking for a booster seat that I found online. I was on the phone with her the whole time as she walked through the store trying to find someone to assist her in finding the one we wanted. Each person that she spoke with was unsure and just essentially directed her to where they thought they would be until she came across Misty. Not only was she kind, she was patient with my mom and even went the extra mile to find the color that we wanted. Thank you Misty for being so helpful to my mom and assisting us with getting the much needed booster seat! I hope this message is read and appreciation is shown by your management. GREAT JOB!

Visiting Walmart is like entering escape room where the challange is just buying shampoo. Long lines, no cashier and the staff you do see are glued to their cell phones. Need mascara or a nail file? Good luck - its locked behind a glass that you need to find an employee to help. Bring patience.

Don't come
after 6pm
I waited 30+ minutes in the electronics department for a phone screen protector! When we did get help it seemed like we were bothering them. The employees walk around on their phones and never ask if you need help… that's if you even see one. To top it all off they refused to price match something on their website! First time I've ever had this problem!
Seriously management needs to do better!

Prices are getting too high. Food isn't always fresh in produce. Employees aren't very helpful or friendly.

The staff is super friendly at the registers and definitely the greeter are awesome as well. My biggest complaint is the mobile shopping crew who are very rude, they roll eyes, block entire lanes and on multiple occasions just ignores the general public and flow of traffic from customers.

I went to return a car battery that did not work efficiently in my car. The original lady helping me was kind and was politely explaining to us the no refund policy and called her manager to speak to us. The manager or leader of the department had her voice raised the whole time and was talking over me and not letting me explain the situation. At that point she explained to me that there could just be a problem in communication and they could be the same sizes. She called someone on the phone to prove that it was the right size. This entire time I was trying to explain to her that we no longer needed a refund but help finding the correct battery after another employee explained they do have the correct battery in stock and that we could exchange it. I wish she would have handled this situation in a more respectful manner instead of coming at me side ways. I need her patients because I’m 17 and don’t no a lot about cars so I was trying to explain what was going on but she just would not let me talk. I recommend not getting a Walmart car battery or dealing with the car department as a whole. Employees are kind but higher up’s are disrespectful.
