The minute you walk in the door somebody greets you with a friendly voice they have awesome customer service skills and they make you feel like it is a joy for them to get to serve you and meet your banking needs

I have been banking with United Community for 8 years now and I have always had a positive experience with the tellers here. I see a lot of one star reviews but I highly disagree. They know and refer to you by your first name, and are very personable when you visit. When someone steals your debit card information, they give you back everything that was stolen with no questions asked and replace your card immediately. They also handle family matters very seriously and with ease. My grandmother, who had dementia, was taken advantage of by two related people who wanted money taken out of her account for themselves. When the tellers caught on to what was happening, they refused service to these two and handled everything with care. I will never go anywhere else for banking.

You get what you pay for... kind of... You save on fees for accounts here, but there's no communication if something goes wrong on their end. I was walked through to enroll in online banking and the assistant couldn't help me. I had to spend several hours figuring it out myself. Another instance is ordering checks and never receiving them. I wasn't notified about it after spending over $100 on them. Look elsewhere and pay the service fees for the convenience. This was a terrible and unprofessional experience.

The true test of a bank isn't when everything goes flawlessly ... because we all expect that. In my opinion, the true test of a bank is when a customer says the bank made a mistake -- but it was the customer's error, not the bank's.I was perturbed when my debit card for one of my several accounts at UCBI was rejected as expired. Tweeted my displeasure and got a call from Pamela to remedy the situation. (Pamela Avery is the perfect banker: someone who takes her job seriously and who has a sense of humor too.) She apologized for the bank not replacing my debit card before it expired.Later that afternoon, I remembered that I got a new debit card several days before, but I mistakenly thought it was for a different checking account that I have with UCBI. Totally my mistake, not the bank's.As a customer of many years and a stockholder, I highly recommend United Community Bank. I apologize for my mistake and admire Pamela and UCBI more than ever for their accuracy and grace.

We bank at the Oakwood branch and the people have always been exceptionally accommodating and pleasant with whom to work. We previously used a credit union but found this bank to be just what we need for local service.

I'm 70 years old and have dealt with a lot of banks in different states and towns. This is the best best I've ever done business with. The people are friendly and helpful and they are easy to deal with when you need help with something or need a loan.

When you buy change rolls for your business.. Best count them got 22 rolls of penny's 12 rolls were short, out of the 12 rolls cheated me 19 cents, won't be using united community bank nomore ..and rude tellers needs training on business ethics! I love Wells Fargo my new bank is how a real bank should be operated

They are the rudest people I've ever met in my life!!! I was in my car filling out my deposit slip and two bank employees came out and and said are you ok? I said yes I'm filling out my deposit slip and the women said well, you have been out here awhile, (maybe 15 min). I said I hate this bank and the little guy said well go bank somewhere else! Really? That's how you talk to someone that's banking there? I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life. There was absolutely no reason they needed to come to my car and talk to me like that.
