Told me there was a mattress available to try out when I called and so I drove 40 minutes out of my way only to be told it was in the back actually and I couldn’t try it. Obviously completely wasted my time and gas.

Picked up an online order from a bridal registry. It was given to me in a corrugated cardboard box ( it was probably shipped in) and stuffed into a small Williams and Sonoma bag. I asked about gift wrap and was told it was $8.00. I left and called back asking if they had pottery barn boxes. The person I spoke to said yes and they were free. Going back tomorrow to pick up box and tissue paper. Seems like when you buy a $100 glass cocktail pitcher the packaging would have a nice presentation. Sorely disappointed.

Glad to see there’s already a low rating. WOW.. they’ve destroyed their reputation for me and I will not be shopping at pottery barn again. Leaving a review here because there are no product reviews on their website (really, in 2023??)
I ordered a glider that was IN STOCK, in March. For my nursery; July due date. It was delayed multiple times but finally arrived in May, in *disgusting* condition. Tears in the fabric, stains, scuffs, human and dog hairs. Like, holy cow! Immediately filed a claim for a replacement. Followed up with them 5 times before anyone to acted on it.
Now the replacement chair has been delayed until OCTOBER. When I was reassured we would have it before my due date or would get a loaner. Boooooo pottery barn. 5 thumbs down

They obviously have much more online than in the store, but the store is laid out well. It is neat and well stocked. They do custom fabrics and furniture orders and offer a nice selection of linens, sheets and accessories.

Pottery Barn has the worst customer service process. A few weeks ago I attempted to make a purchase. In the middle of the transaction their system crashed. Of course however, the system still managed to take my money but the transaction was left in a pending state. The representative was unable to complete the transaction. It was late Saturday leaving no one available to assist in rectifying the issue. I had to leave with NO product and NO refund. I called Monday, there were no updates, a call was returned Wednesday explaining my options are to inconveniently drive back to the store for a credit although store credit was not how the payment was processed or wait on the phone with the credit card company & dispute the charge, fill out a dispute form & wait up to 30 days because I also will be receiving a new card. I am not understanding why Pottery Barn was unable to return the funds back to the same card?? At this point this seems like theft because Pottery Barn has allowed a consumer to leave with no product and they still have my money. Weeks have gone by & I have not heard from this store’s GM & they are aware of the situation. I am currently waiting for a response from the credit card company. I could have taken the credit but considering the way this situation is POORLY being handled I would not recommend doing business with Pottery Barn. I have seen other reviews & if I can’t get a refund for something I had no control over, I can only imagine how difficult it must be to get help if you have actual product to return.

Great quality furniture and large selection. The couches are very customizable and can be ordered. I prefer to get bigger furniture pieces from here and accessorize from other furniture stores. Pottery Barn does have great accessories. I prefer to get blankets and pillows from there.

I don't know what is going with the PB Delivery Team and the local delivery vendors here in PB but our couch delivery was an absolute mess. Long story short, we received a damaged couch and asked PB for a replacement. After many back and forths the replacement fell through; no replacement for a couch we had to wait 2+ months for from first purchasing at the nice PB store. So all we could do was ask for a refund. Delivery came and picked up the couch. We were promised a prompt refund, but after 2 weeks still no refund came. PB didn't even have a record of them picking up the furniture. So we didn't have a couch and we also didn't have our money back. We are now left with disputing the charge with our CC company. And guess what? To this day, The Sales team at the local PB doesn't care about us! They don't care and follow up with our case! I would say avoid Pottery Barn for now until they make a systemic change within their org. The way they hand off customers between sales/delivery/customer service is a big mess. They are each individually apologetic when we speak to them about our problems, but all of them are left powerless with the actual act of satisfying the customer. There is no accountability within PB of seeing through that the customer is taken care of. Each team punts the problem off to the next team. And if the next team doesn't take care of the issue, those original individuals that handed off the problem doesn't follow up. There is no oversight and no accountability. The customer is just an entity in the system for them. The customers (you and I) are left having to call and follow up. The customer is left doing all of PB's dirty work for them.

Poor quality furniture for the price. I had a $1,300 glider chair completely break and become unusable after less than 2 years of owning it. No warranty. Customer service is no help and couldn't guarantee the part they recommend would work as there was no picture or description of it. Also, that part takes 5+ months to ship.

In Home Designer session ?. I scheduled 2x in two different locations and both times was No Show appts in two different locations. Bad service. Do Not offer the in home service as one of three choices if you cannot fulfill it.

Refused a return of a hello kitty pillow from pottery barn kids. When I called pottery barn customer service they said that they should take it back. The young lady I spoke with said that she had never heard of them refusing an order. It’s upsetting. My 10 year old is possessed with hello kitty, I was ordering all the accessories from pottery barn. But I will never do any business with pottery barn if there is no consistency with the way they treat people . Especially the one on peachtree parkway .
