I attended a lovely funeral service for a friend's mother at this classic, old school, traditional, southern church. I was impressed with their progressive atmosphere as a senior woman officiated the service. She was engaging, funny and had a charming southern voice. I had never visited this church before, but the community that surrounded the family of the deceased spoke well for the spirit of this UMC. I am happy for the evident comraderie this church community seems to have.

I feel like God has finally given me a church home!! Such great lovely people who honor God and Pastor Eddie is always in tuned with the Lord to preach the Gospel. Praise God!!!

Not enough time or space to say all that has happened here. This is a major hub in the community. For young groups through burials of our leaders, this church has been at the center of the community for a very long time. It is only as good as the membership and ministry, and should continue its leadership into the future.I am unsure about services for the homeless, I would recommend the Norcross Cooperative Ministry 2275 Mitchell Rd. It has resources and is connected to local organizations and churches.
