I've only experienced incompetence from this CU. I've banked with nothing but CUs and this has been my worst experience with them. There seems to be a different answer to the same problem from 5 different people. For example, I had direct deposit set up from my place of employment I started working at in May of 2019. Four of my Six checks never made it into my account with no reason as to why. It seemed randomly, deposits just disappeared. It's not like the company that my employer uses changed the information needed to make the direct deposit, the info had been the same the whole time but only two of my checks made it into my account? I called and talked to three different people who all told me three different things to do to try and find the money. I found the info needed and then was told that it's not their responsibility but my employers? The money was GONE they were not going to try and pay me again. THEY DID PAY ME and the money was just in the wrong place for no reason. After two weeks of arguing with the different people in the ACH department I figured out all I had to do was bug the manager a couple of times and somehow she managed to easily find the missing deposit with the info I had been giving her department for days, and put it in my account. Maybe train your employees better? They all seem incredibly uneducated on how your business runs. They also seem to be more interested in being right than providing a service to the people who are GIVING YOU MONEY. Leaving this place as soon as I can for sure.

NICE PEOPLE BUT TERRIBLY UNDER STAFFED! Sloooowwwwww. Just awful. Be prepared to stand in long AFTER they let you wonder around to find where you need to be No signs of where to go so you waste your time at the overdesigned first desk as you walk in the door. Only to discover you should go to the left for banking. The people are rude especially at the front desk and the entire staff act like it's a privilege for you to step into the over priced, horribly designed building and parking lot. Parking is RIDICULOUS!! ON A STEEP HILL and VERY FEW PARKING SPOTS. Drive thru is UNDER the building but you can only enter from one side. TOTALLY ILLOGICAL!! Just the absolute worse banking experience I have EVER had!

This credit union is not customer friendly. They will have you jump over hoops for a loan...To get a small personal loan is like qualifying to buy a home...The required documentation is ridiculous..They don't seem to be anxious to make loans at all. I can't understand why they are always advertising their desire to make loans.

This has to be the biggest waste of my time. This has happened to me at least three times this year, and looking back at it...about five times last year. Something I don't have the time for, and shouldn't have to call the bank every time for this reason. What has happened is, a bill, as usual, was taken out of my account like it is this time every month, there was two dollars and change left in my account and what did Delta do, they took out a $35 withdrawal fee. Why? I can go back again, 5 to 7 times in the last two years this is happened and show them exactly the same thing. Why are they taking out my money? And why every time that I call I get disconnected by someone who has no idea what the hell they're doing? I then have to call back and then told I'm going to get a call from someone from the bank within 2 to 3 business days about this transaction. Why can't you just put my money back on the account? This is such an inconvenience and so unprofessional. I've never had this many issues with a credit union before in my life. Being in Georgia and having to use Delta, not my choice to begin with, and I hope in the future it won't be. I am beyond upset about the situation. I can see if it was the first time, maybe the second time, but it's definitely not. 5 to 7 times this is happened to me, and I can't take it anymore.

Nightmare used car loan process. Honestly I don't think you can complete a transaction unless buyer and seller are sitting in the office. Bill of sale form has a major error in that they want their name (DECU) as a Lien holder for the seller. My seller won't sign that. The online line loan app form is via a 3rd party which takes you down a totally different path with a different logon. I give up. Looking for a new credit union. Killed 2 hours of a busy Saturday AM for their incompetence.

I wish I can give them zero star. This place must be doing something illegal. They need to be under investigation. When you call and ask them simple questions they hang up on you.

Itza Fisher was the best bank teller I've had yet! I'm using her every time I come to this location. She was extremely helpful, I love her! She even educated me on the credit card process and what to do and what not to do. I wish everyone cared about you credit and expenses like she does.

One star for the Customer Service because the employees were great; however I'm very thankful that I did not just switch from my current credit union over to Delta because Delta Credit Union give their new members such an unnecessary hard/difficult time to deposit funds into the account! Which is the craziest to me. It's a deposit people! Just for this I will be staying with my well respected Navy Federal and USAA credit Union.

Seriously the worst credit union ever. All their agents will do is lie to you to get your money for a loan and then completely screw over your credit. We've contacted the credit department multiple times because our loan is showing negative when it wasn't and past due when payments were deferred but all they do it tell you "oh well, should have made your payment on time" and basically that they don't care about you as a customer. As soon as this loan is paid off we will be closing accounts and going to a different credit union because the way this company does business is beyond subpar- it's basically disgusting. I can not stress enough do not open an account with these people- they have hidden terms and conditions and different "disclosures" that if you don't read closely will completely and totally screw your credit up. Started with a decent starting credit of 650. Now somewhere in the 400s thanks SOLELY to this company. Never ever again will I trust Delta Community Credit Union.

I recently became a Delta Union Credit member. I was referred by a mature co-worker whom I admire her financial advice. So far, I LOVE THIS BANK. I joined under the "Refer a friend" program and we both get $50 deposited in 60 days which is a really nice gesture. I joined for the sole reason to refinance my car. Boy was I able to! I refinanced my car to 5% APR and was approved for a $4k credit card (that I will probably never use but get for emergencies and to build on my credit portfolio). I have been to two different locations and both are great but I love the Hammond Drive location. The people there are great and so friendly. Shout out to "Rose" for getting my car situation right. She helped save me from an upside down loan. I am so thrilled with this bank, I just referred my husband who signed up so I will get another $50. These are the perks of a credit union that makes all the difference :)

The worst banking experience I've ever had in my life. RUN! 1. I consistently have 3-4 instances of fraud on my account each year. However, I'm never notified. I've always had to stumble upon it. The charges, which were made internationally and over $300, were never flagged to me. 2. Terrible customer service. They never take responsibility or work to resolve issues and make customers happy. For instance, I initiated a fraud investigation, filed the proper documentation inside a branch and was refunded the next day. To my knowledge, the process was complete, as that was what was communicated and explained to me. However, three months later, I had that same amount (almost $600) taken BACK out of my account by the bank, with no notification or explanation - I had to AGAIN randomly come across it and make several phone calls to figure out what had even happened. There was constant miscommunication between general customer service reps and financial analysts, who blamed me for not filing the paperwork within a given time and saying Visa cancelled the investigation because they did not receive that information. The CSR said I could've found this communication on my app or online banking via the secure email service, yet the fraud analyst said the documentation would be sent via mail and not by them. I never received the paperwork (not sure if it was lost in the mail, lost in translation during a move, or what). I was never sent any kind of heads-up notice, phone call from them or any reminder to be sure and have this very important documentation signed and delivered. They offered me NO other solution, besides calling the merchant, which is Walmart MoneyGram. Total nightmare. I will probably not get that $600 back. This was after speaking to a customer service rep, fraud analyst, assistant branch manager and branch manager in vining's. If you're in the mood to lose money or deal with people who blame you for their lack of communication, miscommunication or overall competencies as a financial institution, then this is the bank for you. Anyone with a sense would run!

Been with them for 10 years, and this is the most pleasant financial institution i've ever done business with. - Large wire transfers: run smoothly and processed within 1 business day - Auto loans/refinancing: run smoothly with absolutely no hidden fees - Transaction disputes: handled quickly with minimal effort on my end I've had only minor issues here and there. They don't nickel and dime you for random things, and every issue i've ever had has been resolved with ease. 10/10 would recommend.

I am a Delta Community Credit Union member. I want to share the outstanding service provided by Lori DeForest and Donna Morgan at the Delta Community Credit Union/ Riverwood location in Atlanta. I went to the teller's window to make a transaction. Lori (teller) greeted me with a smile and asked me if I considered applying for a Delta Community Credit Union credit card. Lori informed me of the special promotion offered. I was not thinking about applying for a credit card. But I was intrigued by the special promotion, APR, and benefits. She walked me over to Member Services. Donna of Member Services also greeted me with a smile and thoroughly explained the application process. Lori and Donna provided excellent customer service. I was approved for the credit card! Lori and Donna are star employees. I appreciated Lori and Donna going the extra mile to assist me. They were extremely informative, patient, and friendly. They answered all my questions and concerns. I am confident Lori and Donna will keep shining and continue providing excellent customer service too many Delta Community Credit Union member. Sincerely, Dawn W.

This has been the best experience ever. It was a comfortable atmosphere. The representative was extremely pleasant and offer several programs that I was just for me. If you are looking for somewhere for your banking I highly recommend Delta.
