I enrolled my child at La Petite Academy with high hopes, but unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. On a recent occasion, my child came home with an unexplained injury, and despite my attempts, I have been unable to speak to a manager or review the surveillance footage to understand what happened. The lack of urgency and concern from the staff regarding my child's well-being has been deeply unsettling. It's disheartening to feel that my child's safety was not prioritized, and the apparent lack of awareness among the staff is concerning.I strongly advise parents to thoroughly consider their options before choosing this daycare. The experience I've had has left me with serious doubts about the level of care and oversight provided at La Petite Academy. I sincerely hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and works to improve the quality of care offered to the children entrusted to them.My son had this incident on Friday no one is willing to speak to me until Wednesday

I have had a great experience at this center. I know the teachers love my kids wether they had them in their class at one point or not. They are all kind nice and kind to my children. My children who don't attend here no more, like to come in at times to visit and say hello to the teachers and talk about their experience now at Kindergarten or day at elementary when picking up their brother who is in Pre-K here. My child in Kindergarten assistes their 3 yr old class all the way up to Pre-K. My 8 yr old who is autistic tried it out for one summer. But all 3 love the staff. I do too.

I needed a last minute place to send my 9 month old son for 2 weeks and La Petite Academy of Norcross accepted him with open arms! Ms. Kim and Ms. Candice cared well for him and treated him as if he was a permanently enrolled kiddo. The best part is the great communication about his development, health, eating, and more. I never had to wonder how he was doing. And not to mention the great price! I will absolutely send him here again should I need care for my son!

i spoke with ms tedra and ms laronda and they told me they were currently enrolling and were willing to accept my twin boys.. everything was going pretty good. my children recieve caps so i had to report a change in daycares which can take up to 10 bus. days. i kept them updated almost EVERY other day. finally, when CAPS switched their daycares from the old one, they told me they cant accept my kids anymore.. due to short staff. mention it takes 2 weeks for caps to make any change. meaning i have to find a whole new daycare that i like and wait a whole new 10-14 days for a change. i understand things happen but it was pretty unreliable.

This school was the first daycare we tried for my daughter at 8 months and was a short term solution due to the location being far from my home but they had an opening. This was my daughters first time outside of my care so she had a tough adjustment with separation anxiety, even though we eased her into it. I really appreciated that during the early days when she only wanted to be held, the teachers would just hold her until she became comfortable enough to go play. I realized this because in many of the first pictures they sent she was being held or at least holding on to one of the teachers. This was really comforting to me to see that they were being so patient with her, and allowing her time to transition. Her infant class main teachers were Ms. Frida, Ms. Alexis, Ms. Dominique and Ms. Candace, although other teachers cover the class from time to time. I never had any issue with them. I felt like they actually cared like for example they were so excited to share with me small things like when she finally would eat all her food or when she finally smiled at them. They also did a good job of keeping brightwheel (the app the send pics and updates on) updated and they sent pictures and videos while really helped me get through the day while I was at work. If my home or job were closer (I was driving 1.5 hours each way mainly due traffic) we would still be there. I actually cried a good bit over having to leave because my daughter was comfortable enough that she reached out the go to the teachers at drop offs and that eased my worries.

The director is nice and willing to work with the family but the assistant director is horrible. I appreciate her for always trying to step in and handle certain things. BUT......when the director is away the assistant is not professional. and has a track record of not having any compassion. She turned away my grandson who was 15 minutes late one day due to their policy. since November and this was in May. Other parents had been bringing their kids in late all the time since the policy went into effect but the assistance decided to make an example week the director was on vacation. My grandson had been going here for a year and then that happened. I had to take off work due to them turning him away that day. I won't ever forget this because it truly hurt me. Luckily I was not the one dropping him off but my daughter, who is a first time mom had to experience this and be shocked. When I called the director she said it was a policy and had just heard about the incident that day (5 days later). Money was wasted because they got our full tuition that week (173 dollars) and he had to miss a day and I had to miss a day at work. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! We pulled him out ASAP.

This school is a great learning experience for all children from ages 1-12. The teachers are very nice and they help give that friendly environment whenever you walk in.
