I had an aluminum driveshaft made for my race car and it needed to be perfect. Andrew made every bit of the process a breeze. From the quote to the finished product I will never use anyone else.

Look at the negative reviews on here. Many of them are accurate from my own experience.

I had a great experience getting my center bearing and u-joint replaced here. I didn't know what to expect coming in and they even balanced the driveshaft for me. It honestly looked like they replaced the entire driveshaft with how well they cleaned it up.
It was pretty effortless and was completed in one day. Price seemed to be fair considering part prices and labor costs due to the rising inflation rates.
I would come back here in a heartbeat if I needed their services in the future.

My first encounter with Driveline was excellent. They drove the vehicle, told me that they also believed the noise was coming from the differential (it’s very hard to pinpoint rear-end noises in case you weren’t aware). Rather than push me into getting it into the shop with them that day, they gave me honest feedback that I could drive it another 10k miles with no problems or it could die on me within the next month. They spent plenty of time discussing all of my concerns and questions.
At this point, I should mention that it is very difficult for me to allow others to work on my vehicles. I have had very bad experiences in the past. That has led me to learn how to do the majority of work myself and to keep my vehicles ultra-maintained. So for me to choose to do business with someone requires what I might consider more than the average person.
Given their knowledge and non-pushy dealings, I decided to bring it in within a few days of the first encounter. Within a few days, they had opened it up and found that the pinion bearing was in a very bad state, causing the rest of the components to also need replacement. Normally, I would have verified this first-hand but I trusted that they were telling me everything accurately. Flash forward a few more days and my truck was ready for pickup.
I wish I could leave this review at that. It was fixed and I drove on 150k more miles with no issues. If only.
Earlier this month, I was beginning to hear a sound from the rear-end between 20-50 mph. I took it to a different shop first to make sure that they too were hearing the sound. Even though they also heard the sound, I still ended up getting it on a lift to make sure the noise wasn’t coming from somewhere else. After hearing it on a lift, I was assured it was coming from the differential.
I took the truck back to them late on a Friday. I was told that it was outside of the warranty period but that they would work with me if it was the differential again. “Whew! They are gonna work with me.” My fears about paying a large amount of money to get the same issue fixed again were fading away. Fast forward to Wednesday of the next week and I get a call from Dwayne, the owner. He tells me that he isn’t really hearing any noise. Now, to be fair, 8 hours shift with impacts in your ear all day will make anyone hard of hearing but to me, the sound wasn’t that faint.
When I got the call that the pinion bearing was bad, they explained to me that it would cost $1100 to fix it. That’s what they originally called working with me. I called back after regaining my composure and decided to press further about why it was bad again.
I ask “could it have been faulty parts?” “No, if the parts had been faulty, they would have failed immediately” I then ask “what could have caused this issue then if not for faulty workmanship”? “Well, we don’t know what kind of towing you were doing”.
Given that the diff was already open, I made the (probably foolish) decision to have them fix it again. I needed the truck back for work I was doing. Fast forward another week and it still wasn’t done. The only reason I found out was because I called to check on the status. The first time I had the truck in, they were very diligent about keeping me updated. This time, not at all.
They finally got it back to me 2 weeks and one day from when I dropped it off. They had brought the price down from $1100 to $760, which, while certainly better, was still $760 more than I expected to pay for what was very very clearly workmanship error.
Will you have the same experience as me? Probably not. I really do think this place is knowledgeable about drive lines. But before going here, ask yourself do you wanna be one of the few who end up having to come back and pay again for their mistake? I wish I hadn’t.
I want to make it clear that Andrew, the tech, was absolutely fantastic during bot

Can't say enough great things about this place. They were lower priced to press in u joints and balance the driveshaft than other shops to just press the u joints. They also welded on a new end on my driveshaft at a perfectly reasonable price and within the day so I didn't lose my vehicle for the next day. My truck now has no vibration up over 75mph and I will be back for any future service!!
