My mother has been shopping at this location for many years, with Sammy, her pekingese, in her shopping cart. However, this morning, she was told that she could not bring Sammy in the store with her, due to a new rule banning all dogs except official service dogs. I realize that safety can be a concern with dogs, but why can't common sense be used sometimes ? See the attached picture and judge for yourself how threatening Sammy is. Actually, several customers had been delighted to see Sammy and Sammy responded affectionately before having to leave. So, I feel that Belk's new policy, although it may make sense in the corporate office, can look a lot different in an actual store.

Walked into Belk's at the Forum in Norcross, Ga(Peachtree Corners) after having a unexpected rude experience with the boutique across the parking lot.
There was an employee named Patricia working continuously to complete each customer's purchase. She barely had a moment between customers walking up to the counter but was willing to answer any questions and assist with the free moments she had. I received boutique customer service in a retail chain. Imagine that.
Then to top it off Astere came and she helped carry my bags. These two ladies turn a shopping disaster into a wonderful experience. Thank you. I returned the next day to change the size of one of my items and bought more items. That experience is why I will be returning.

I really felt bad for the lack of cashiers/customer support personnel and it's effect on one's shopping experience. I was fortunate to find Mac who assisted me with all checkouts. Thank you Mac in Menswear.

Very disappointing for spring. Lots of winter clearance. Walked out without purchasing selected items as clerk insisted that she could not ring them up without scanning a coupon in my phone. I do not have a Belks ap nor do I want one. Belks lost a sale.

There's tons of clearance to shop from, BUT it's all disorganized; sizes are all over the place. If you've got the time to rummage through racks on racks you may find something worth while.
