Walgreens @ Thomas crossroads.. disappointed. I’m not usually the type to complain about stuff like that but seriously.. this was WRONG.
My husband went to get my hydroxycloriquine for my rheumatoid arthritis. I am 28 years old and was diagnosed at 27. This is literally just an immuno suppressant, not an opioid, not a controlled substance, NOTHING.
Anyway, they didn’t have my prescription. And without even knowing what the medicine was, he asked my husband what it was for and he said “it’s for her rheumatoid arthritis” because he couldn’t remember the name of it.
This pharmacy TECH WENT OFF on a tangent about “well she knows pain meds just mask the pain for autoimmune diseases, right”
Without even LOOKING at what medicine I was on or what it was, this tech assumed I was on pain killers because I have a disease that causes chronic pain and decided to throw his 2 cents in about my health with no idea what he was talking about and acted like I was a drug addict?
Like who are you? You aren’t going to tell me anything about my disease that five different specialists haven’t told me.
And for your information, I’ve NEVER taken or been prescribed an opioid of any kind for my disease. And you’re a TECH.. not a doctor, not a pharmacist.
I’m swapping pharmacies. That was the most judgmental thing I’ve ever experienced in my life
Fyi.. I grew up with an opioid addict in my life and I wouldn’t touch them with a 10 foot pole.

My son who is a testicular cancer survivor, using now replacement T, was denied his subcutaneous needles today by the pharmacy, having assumed he was a drug user. This is after having explained to the technician (Zach) his health scenario. If asked for proof he had Rx available on his phone. This was done in front of others and I am appalled at the way he was treated. Will no longer use his pharmacy. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Absolutely NOTHING was pleasant about this visit.
When I walked in, I was not greeted. Fine, no big deal. I walked to the photo station and no one was there. So I walked back to the check-out counter and asked if anyone could help me with my photos.
The young lady spoke into her microphone earpiece and said, "Kat, someone needs to pick up pictures." And she went back to checking out customers. I walked back to the photo counter and waited about 2 minutes.
Then a woman with open sores all over her face walked out rolling her eyes. She didn't speak, but said, "You're here for pictures?" I said yes. She then says, "Name?" Not what's your name please. Just rude, curt, short, annoyed interaction. I told her my name and she then says, "Again." Just a disgusting demeanor. From this point I spelled my name and repeated it. She started looking through the photos and pulls out 1 envelope. I told her there should be 2. She looks again and then goes to a computer. She tells me only 1 picture is showing. I explained there were 2 accounts, which need to be merged by the way- as Google logs me in automatically and I never know which is which.
She then goes to the second computer and reprints the SAME photo! Incorrectly at that. It should have been a portrait, not landscape. I said this and she responded, "OH WELL." When she printed the receipt, I thought I wouldn't need it..then I saw the pictures and her attitude was just trash. I asked for the receipt back. She told me it was in the trash. I asked for a manager. She said she was the MANAGER.
HOW? WHY?
I requested she reprint the receipt, she refused and continued to repeat, "Have a good day." While smirking and taking the till out of the drawer. The young man that walked up towards the end of the interaction gave me the receipt from the trash and I left with TWO OF THE SAME WRONG PICTURES. Wasted my time with your egregiously rude employee, "Kat" and further wasting my time by calling in to speak to your nonchalant Customer Relations person Keith.
This is why is RARELY EVER SPEND MONEY AT YOUR STORES. Find better people! This woman is a reflection of how she feels about HERSELF. It is no fault of my own that she hates who and what she is and I should not have to experience her inner BS.

Just absolutely terrible pharmacy. Always understaffed, sitting here waiting for more than 45 minutes to pick up one medication for my sick child that took over 3 hrs to fill and no one seems to care at all. Don’t use unless you have no other options.

I have yet to have an acceptable customer service experience with their pharmacy. They always have some issue that’s out of their hands- system, staffing, availability. They cannot run a business and provide even average customer service. Each time I think maybe it’ll be better- and it has not been. Switching pharmacies to Kroger.

I'm learning how to coupon and today my visit at Walgreens went so smooth. The manager Rebecca Matherne was so patient and helpful with my transaction. With her help I was able to save more and earn Walgreens cash.

We made appointments at 3:09 and 3:15 PM to get vaccinations. Showed up at 3:00 PM and waited 30 minutes before the pharmacy tech called me over to tell me my insurance hadn’t gone through, which took another 10 minutes to update, and by which time 2 other people who had come in after us already were called back for their vaccines. Finally, after waiting for 50 minutes, we decided to leave and get our vaccines elsewhere. Will not be coming back here or any Walgreens ever again.

I was informed employees follows black people around at this location. So, today, I did tested this location. It was true. The cashier was at the register. She did not have a customer. I picked up what I needed and decided to walk to the candy aisle. Between me picking up what I needed, she had made her way to the back. She was walking back to the front when all of a sudden she stopped. It was not a regular stopped. It was more as a shuffle. Then she acted as if she was straightening the Reeses. How do I know? I stood there for 20 secs and she remain I. The same spot moving the same Reese's cups.This happen to a black senior citizen woman. She said the cashier was at the register. Why she was shopping, the cashier ended up on the same aisle straightening items.The customer stated she move around the store and the cashier followed. At the check out, the customer told her not all black people steal.I recall this is the same location where the manager said unloading the truck was more important than helping me.
