It's a Dollar General, so I wasn't expecting Target quality, but still... This DG is located on Temple Avenue just behind/beside the Hardee's that sits at the Temple Avenue/Hospital Road intersection. I have been to many Dollar General's and this one stands out as one of my least favorites for a few reasons. First is service, the staff have always been rude, quiet and not helpful. This was even noted before the pandemic. Second is the store itself. It is disheveled, unorganized, dimly lit and not well maintained. There are not a lot of retail shops on this side of Newnan, so I get the need for this store, but I would certainly and will drive a few extra miles to get to a better stocked, sorted and staffed place.

The Dollar General means a lot to people in some areas... However if that means I have to accept rude disgusting service from cashier's who aspire to be nothing more than "just a cashier" and treat like your value and worth is one dollar is something I will never accept.If people like this you employ at Dollar general I will happily, gladly and proudly take my $1 and go somewhere else. SMH please stop selling yourself short.

The place is always cluttered, but someone is usually working the stock.The associates vary month to month except for a few.However, they are always friendly and willing to help.
