As a member of the Coweta Fayette EMC for more than 35 years I have never experienced the intimidation as recently displayed by one evil Crew lineman who mysteriously showed up at my home with deputies with No Work Order or any WRITTEN DOCUMENTATION to forceably remove a perfectly functioning bidirectional meter and then conveniently replace it with a meter that shows no Lennox solar ready product. If I have any future meter problems should I expect deputy accompaniment with the subsequent evaluations as my wife of 50 years is frustrated with this visual perception?

This establishment is awful. If I could leave no stars I would. Every time we’ve had problems and tried to call them to resort our issues they are the rudest people on earth. I didn’t ask you to work where you work so don’t take it out on the customers. I just hope these same people affecting the people out here struggling get the same treatment when you need help. When you have to go nights without power because no one would help you. THIS COMPANY WILL NOT DO IT. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU. They have no options for you. Tacking on as many up charges as they can for anything but they are non profit somehow?? Doesn’t make sense. Don’t get service with them if you can help it.

Today I called the light company to see why I was denied service and they stated because I owe 900 and something dollars on an account from 2010. I then informed them that I was a heart patient and unable to work at this time. A gentleman advise me to take 75.00 down to this office and startup prepaid services which will pay towards my balance everytime I pay. Once i got to the office they said no and that he was wrong and that i cant receive prepaid services until i pay off all or most of that balance. Georgia Power dosent work like this. They help individuals in need and not treat them as if their abusing the system. Now I'm left without lights as a heart patient with 4 stents. Very disappointing

I have a friend that can't get services turned on because her husband owes a back balance from 2010. Someone there told the couple to come down and sign up for prepaid services, and when they arrived they were denied due to them having a past balance. Georgia Power dosent operate like this. This family is in need her husband is a heart patient and was sent home without lights. This is horrible. Sad thing is the fact that I know someone that had a back balance of 2500 and was approve for prepaid. That's weird and upsetting.

I must admit that I had to disconnect from the first customer service agent; I realize that she probably wasn't for the initial call. I chose to make a second call, and Missy answered the phone as my agent. Missy gave me accurate information about my last payment and was very approachable and helpful.Thank You Missy ,You we’re Great ?

Horrible customer service today called to inquire about round up on our account come to find out EMC was rounding up our account to the nearest dollar without authorization. I informed the customer clerk that we wanted EMC to discontinue rounding up our dollar and she became agitated because of my request and asked very harshly to speak with my husband as the account is in his name as though I wasn’t allowed to request EMC to STOP taking our money without our consent. I don’t care what the cause is for you don’t voluntarily take customers money without their consent Rule the dollar that we pay for the service and not a penny more PERIOD!
