They have changed hands recently with a goal of going bigger and better. But it has always helped people who are down on their luck, the unemployed, the elderly, and the homeless with food needs and finding resources to help their clients. Let's pray they stick to their roots and serve all and God.

These people are amazing! They treat everyone with kindness, no matter what their social status or income level. Even after becoming a victim of theft, they still open their doors to all in need, without hesitation! They offer many types of assistance including food pantry, clothing, shower & laundry services, & from my understanding, even legal advice/services to a certain extent. If you are in need of food for your household, Saturday morning offers great blessings from this ministry. Be sure to get there by 8am or you may miss your opportunity, as the line fills up fast. While you wait, you are invited in for a warm breakfast prepared by the volunteers and a devotional service. I have to say that on the Saturdays when I have been to late for the pantry I was certainly disappointed in myself. BTG is most certainly a place to go if you are in need of, well, just someone to care!*UPDATE*Here I am, years after my original review of BTG! After the years have flown by, BTG remains a true blessing to this entire community & the surrounding areas! Without a doubt & without hesitation, BTG is always there to help the people! I, to this day, have found only 1 other organization that compares to BTG!KEEP UP THE AMAZING SERVICE YALL PROVIDE TO THE COMMUNITY & PEOPLE WHILE DELIVERING THE LOVE OF THE LORD THROUGH YOUR ORGANIZATION! I have several food allergies. Sometimes I don't get the meat I can eat. Sometimes the meat is bad, smells, expired. I feel like I'm a pain to some of the staff. The older blonde female director last Saturday was really rude to me. Treated me like I was beneath her. And talked very loudly and slow. Like I was stupid. After waiting in the cold car for two hours. I received mainly veggies. The meat I couldn't have nor the snacks that they put in. The guy who waited on me was nice. But that older woman was so rude and screamed across the lot. Food allergies, very picky, food allergies, this one. So unprofessional, and Jennifer said she would give me some numbers of organizations that could help me with my power bill. But when I got to the loading area she looked away from me. It's not really terrible. But just because we are poor doesn't mean you can treat us like dirt. And hand out bad food or foods hungry people can't eat. Not everyone there is bad. But the few makes you just want to starve then deal with it. None of the head supervisors care. Or return your complaint calls or emails. They also almost always have a rodent problem. Their freezers always smell like rotten food.

Stopped in on the wrong day of the week and ask for food. They smiled and SURE and come back next week if you need too.
