My husband and I called around 7:07pm on a Thursday. We were told about an hour to an hour and a half wait. We were okay with that and prices were fair. We called back at 9:02pm and were told another 30-40 minutes. We called back AGAIN at 10:04 and were told ANOTHER 30 minutes. We were also told no one else was ahead of us, but the traffic (at 10pm on a Thursday) was heavy. The communication was poor. I would have appreciated a call with updates on time, rather than sitting in a parking lot for 3 hours. We went with another company, but figured it was respectful to call Southside Wrecker Services back and inform them we will no longer need their services. We went with Johnny’s and he was here in 17 minutes (even with ALL the traffic). After our numerous calls for updates and the significant delay, I expected a less rude response from the woman on the phone at Southside Wrecker. I’m sure their services are good, as I’ve seen in other reviews. This is why we called them first. We just never got as far as waiting numerous 30 minutes- an hour delays for their services.
