Not my normal vet, I needed emergency help for flees on my dog and after an unsettling call with my normal office offering an appointment in two weeks, I started calling around. The girls at the desk were helpful, informative, and kind. We got quick friendly service and exactly what we needed. Didn’t realize we had such a gem right around the corner!

Recently moved to the area. Picked this vet based off reviews. They did not disappoint. Had to come in for an emergency even and they got me right in and took care of my dog.

I was hoping for a great experience how ever that was almost ruined by the vitals/intake technician. She was very aggressive and manhandled my puppy, who is a larger breed. However larger breed does not mean you should treat them with any less care or decency.She attempted to take his legs out from under him multiple times and showed no patience with him while trying to get his weight.Then with out telling me a single thing, took my dog out of the room and came back with an aggravated tone and was very rude to myself and my puppy. She stated he snipped at the muzzle... he has never seen a muzzle in his life and I was never made aware of their intent to use a muzzle (let alone what they were doing with my dog) or i would have told them this and that he likely would see it as a toy. She displayed no knowledge of basic puppy or dog behaviors.I was extremely unhappy with the unprofessionalism displayed by the intake tech not to mention the tech treating my dog so roughly.On a more positive noteThe reception team was very sweet and knowledgable. They were extremely professional and displayed excellent customer service.Doc Matthews Was knowledgable and ready to answer any questions I had about how to best care for my pup.

Dr. Matthew's is always super knowledgable and helpful in caring for my older dog. He helped find what was wrong with her several times, the most recent being something that was pretty rare in dogs. He's saved her life a few times now and I'm forever grateful!

My pets had previously gone to Dr Matthews Sr. many years ago. My new dog had an emergency, and even though this pet had never been to him before, Dr Matthews (son of Sr) agreed to see him even though it was surgery day. His diagnosis was spot-on. He explained it to me in language I could understand, told me the possibilities that could happen. He even gave me options for treatment, quoting prices for each. This office had medication readily available. Very friendly staff. Pricing was very fair, actually less than I was expecting under the circumstances. My dog could have ended up paralyzed but he is doing great now, and many thanks go to Dr Matthews.
