Staff are always friendly and helpful. Prices are higher than the big box stores, but the closest BB from my home is 40 minutes. I'm happy to have a local Ace 6 minutes away.

I don’t ever post reviews positive or negative but this rubbed me the wrong way. I needed to stop in and get some things from Ace and I needed $25 cash changed out of a $50.00. But if I paid in cash using the $50 it would leave me shy a dollar. I asked if I paid with a card if I could get change for a $50.00. Their response was only if I was a reward member. Which I would of been if this store didn’t screw up my information. If I’m making a transaction at a store it shouldn’t matter if I’m a member or not I will not be shopping at this store again because of this inconvenience. I had to go next door to the gas station to get change.

Called ahead, had what I needed in a pinch. Walked in never stopped just glanced and asked where it was to the cashier. Immediately responded and told me where to find it.

LOVE that this new ACE Hardware came to Monticello! The staff is so helpful. The store is clean and has everything you can think of stocked & ready! Very convenient location!

I'd much rather go to Ace than one of those massive Home Depot-type stores. Need to match a screw? Someone will walk you right to the aisle and help you find a match.

So far the stock has kept up, seems like nuts, bolts etc... are being restocked as well. I can usually find what they are supposed to have in stock. More than I can say about other places that "used to have something" but never restocked once they ran out.
