Waited in a long line to get papers notarized. Employee was taking people behind me in line that had Amazon returns. There was a gentleman already at the island waiting to get things notarized too. When I questioned the employee she told me the notary service was not a priority. I told her it was a service that I had to pay for and it was not something they did for free. Why was I treated like a second class customer? Two of the three employees that were working were notaries. This is unacceptable. I left and took my business elsewhere.
To the owner: please don't respond with an apology. Rule #6. Never apologize -its a sign of weakness.Take accountability through actions, not words.
There is no excuse for the treatment I received.

The employees are great and UPS is SOOO much more reliable than the USPS at this point. I always use UPS for packages, but this time it was a letter.

It baffles me how this store closed extra early when I called and confirm with UPS that this store would be open and drove over 30 minutes just to found out they closed early which is ridiculous.

Prices are high for stamps. You pay 3 times the amount than usps. I like that I can return my Amazon purchases easily.

Not sure what is going on with businesses now days, it seems as if they could care less for your business.
I needed to ship something for my company, which is a 6 billion dollar company and asked for 10 express envelopes. He said he could only give me 4 per his manager.
Now I would understand if this store were actually paying for the supplies provided by UPS, but they are free to me and to them. I told the individual that 4 would not do me any good as I would have to drive to the Bethlehem store anyway. He would not budge so I left and said I would take my business elsewhere. Not sure how much the store makes on shipping but I am sure there is some monetary incentive. My company ships a ton of packages daily, world wide and we use UPS almost exclusively. So they have lost out, for no good reason. The only advantage in using this store was because Domino's pizza was next door, but that is not that much of a draw so I will drive to the other store which is about the same distance away.
Response to owner response....I was a customer, I have used the store many times in the past and I was not asking for something that cost your store anything to get. They are free supplies provided by UPS. Also, I told the employee that I had ordered directly from UPS but would take 6 days to receive and I needed the supplies sooner. And I can tell by your response that you are not interested in my business but just trying to justify your position. So good luck with that.

My husband and I have live in Monroe Ga 5 yrs and have been using this ups store for personal and business use. We haven’t had any major complaints worth mentioning. I personally have encountered somewhat of not so friendly customer service, it didn’t bother me so much since I was always in a rush. One particular incident I was charged twice because I was told that my card didn’t go through the first time. On the business side of it we shipped anything between transmission, converters and parts all over. My husband went in the ups store to ship some headers and they tried to charge him $350. We have shipped things more valuable and heavier to be overcharged this much for some headers. My husband went to Covington to another location and was charged under $120 to ship. I know mistakes happen but this was ridiculous. If you are shipping anything at this location please check your receipt or shop around for cheaper rates and prices.

Shoutout to Aza (I apologize if I butchered your name) for handling the store by herself today! She was KILLING IT (1/14/24). I’d like to add to UPS that if you receive a complaint with a video from some hag today please keep in mind that there were 8-10 people behind her in line and Aza was doing all she could to keep the line moving and everyone happy. If you’re going to keep her on by herself on weekends she deserves a raise

Sunday afternoon 01/14/24 and the young lady that was running the store - ALL BY HERSELF - was fantastic. The line was basically out the door the entire time I was there. It's a real shame that the UPS Store owner knows how busy Sundays are, at this store, and only has one person at the store, the whole day. There's no chance that she could even hit the restroom. She gets 5 Stars. The store gets 3 Stars. Average them at 4 Stars.
