“I had the unfortunate experience of having someone, in another country (say what??) attempt to use my bank card info (and had at least my zip code too) to make a 'purchase'. I received a text and a voicemail that I did not trust to be legit and went to the bank in person. Seth, the bank manager helped with finding out what was going on.Seth was great, did some digging and called the number I'd been called and texted from, which I wasn't sure was legit (and at first neither was he). He found the attempted transaction and where it originated from. After conversing and the case declared to be fraud, he and the gal on the phone shut down the card and ordered a new one.I appreciated the bank's and catching & reversal of the transaction immediately and Seth's patience and understanding, taking it all quite seriously as I was quite stunned and not sure how to handle the new situation. I had that week's pay hitting the account the next day and needed funds for a day trip and weekend as my daughter was flying in. Fortunately, I had been pulling a bit of cash out for a few checks so had some on hand and a couple of us pulled together for the weekend's necessities. Seth offered to pull cash out from what was in the account.I appreciated his help and demeanor over all. He was very kind and pleasant to work with.”

“2nd EDIT: 9.17.2021 - Representative from my local branch in Monroe, GA called me personally to rectify this situation and she is helping to reinstate my tiny savings account. A portion of the fees will be waived (since I did, in fact, fail to sign up for e-statements initially) and my account will be opened again. I can then set up a recurring transfer to this account so I can begin using it. So PSFCU did finally reach out and this has been resolved! ************************EDIT: Reached out and sent my contact info to them after they replied to my review and it's now 2 days later and nothing. Haven't heard anything from anyone. *********************Um, so I opened a savings account back in June in the Monroe branch. Paid $20 to do so. Then, I never received any correspondence via snail mail or electronic mail. I completely forgot I had this account. Error on my part. BUT NOW I'M OUT THAT $20. So I wasted a twenty on this bank and they didn't even notify me that my savings account was going to be closed or that they had closed it. This is NOT a good first impression. Geez, yes it's my fault I forgot I had opened this account, but how come I never heard from this place monthly? I put $20 in there to open it. Where did all that go?! I never received the first statement or anything. Meh.”

“ATM works sometimes. My girlfriend and I were able to set up a brand new checking account and transfer all funds from an existing BoA account in a cool 30 minutes. Lady helping us was very helpful and cordial.”

“First off let me say that I'm not a fan of large banks since there are plenty of small local and regional banks that can better and less corruptly put your banknotes to work through fractional-reserve banking. With that being said I needed to go to a bank so Capital One could confirm my identity for a credit card and since this was the closest open financial institution I came here. Although they were understaffed on the Saturday morning I came in with only three bankers and about the same number of lobby tellers, once I waited in the seating area for around 15 minutes I explained what I needed to my banker and even though I informed her that I am not a customer here she went ahead and called Capital One for me which was a 20 minute game of personal information sharing, holding, and handing the phone back and forth. Before we made the call I was told about their checking and savings products and we casually talked about their credit cards and other services during the call but I greatly appreciate the fact that even though I'm not a customer here the banker I worked with was very kind and told me not to worry that the ridiculous verification process was taking so long which was quite a positive experience and made me feel as if I wasn't at such a powerful and monolithic institution.”
