Went for a tour last week and honestly I’ve never encountered such attitude from admin staff at a school for small children.

One of the most important decisions we have to make as parents is having someone else watch our child. My husband and I toured 5+ daycares in the Alpharetta area and all were very impressive, were decorated nicely but none of the options made me feel confident in it being the right fit. That was until we met the infant teacher, Mrs. Luzma + the entire staff at Milton Montessori and I just knew that this would be the school we chose. Our daughter started at three months old and has been at MMS for 1.5 years and I have been thrilled with this decision ever since. All of the teachers love my daughter almost as much as we do, they keep good communication of the activities she plays with during the week and even areas we can work on over the weekend to keep her growing and learning. We love the structure the school setting has provided for her and we could not be prouder to be a part of this community of parents. I hope this post helps a new parent in deciding where their little one will learn and grow :)-Stephanie

Not at all child friendly. I liked the teacher but Principal is very rude. How can a 2 year old go to school without crying looking at all strangers? She expects him to simply walk to classroom and play like he is already used it. She just stood by the door waiting to kick us out all the time while teacher was trying to calm him down. Glad that he is not selected. He definitely deserves way better school than this!

MMS was the perfect school for our toddler between 2-4 years old. They offer other age programs as well. The staff was nothing short of exceptional. Caring, kind and full of enthusiasm to educate in the Montessori way. The MMS administration is professional and keeps parents informed, many options for communication and lots of transparency. Highly recommend this school, from management to teachers, facilities to academics, it's really a top notch school.

Selected this Montessori for our 20 month old after moving back to the ATL area from overseas. Nora was a delight to meet and instantly made me feel welcome. Ms Manu was my child's teacher and she was equally warm and welcoming. The staff is all very friendly (Manuela at the front desk is the best and so very helpful!). The place is clean. They provide healthy meals. It is small but has all the necessary things for your growing child. This was my first Montessori experience and because of that I am bought in to the method of education. Keep up the great work, Ladies! My child is better for it, thank you for everything!!

Amazing school and community. Ms.Nora and her staff truly care about the children in their care. This school feels like a family environment and I feel happy when I drop my son off each day. Truly grateful we found MMS and i recommend it to other parents who are searching for a kind, empathetic, genuine Montessori environment for their kids. Thanks MMS.

We are very pleased with MMS and cannot say enough good things about the school director , Ms. Nora and her staff. They are kind, genuine and care for all the children. My son feels loved and wants to go school. We didn't have this experience at our last Montessori school in the area. Our son just turned two and is thriving. I recommend this school to any parent who is searching for the right environment for their child. MMS has it all. And they also have their own kitchen and prepare nutritious meals for the kids daily. A big help for working parents !

When my husband and I moved to Milton last year from Florida my biggest fear was about finding the right school for our then 3 year old daughter however, I can say without a doubt we found EXACTLY what we were looking for at Milton Montessori! We love this school so much! The staff and teachers are all so caring and passionate, they truly get to know the students and are invested in their success academically. What a blessing this school has been for our family! I cannot recommend it enough.

This school is truly wonderful and the best parenting decision I have made to date for my children! The teachers are warm and loving but also their expectations of the children are clear and consistent. The classrooms are clean, calming and inviting; and the amount of work materials the children have access to is very impressive. My 8 month old smiles bigger for her teacher than anyone else and she comes home happy everyday. They call me if they feel like anything is ever off with her and I know they are taking great care of her. The growth I've seen with my toddler (just turned 3) has been exceptional. They noticed when she was struggling with her colors and worked extra hard to help her learn them. She tells us AND shows us things she has learned regularly and is constantly impressing myself and others. She impressed my family when she put on her jacket - the Montessori way- by herself at Easter. She impressed the mothers at swim lessons when she folded her own towel and handed it to me. Just this month alone she has impressed me when she sang a song naming all of the continents, told me the lifecycle of a butterfly, and just yesterday, named all of the planets. All thanks to this wonderful school!

This school has exceeded my expectations in every way. The organization and professionalism of the staff and teachers are top-notch. They create a warm and welcoming environment that makes us feel like part of a family. As a parent, I am so relieved to have found a school where my 3-year-old daughter is not only safe, but thriving. Her attention span, manners, and overall disposition have improved significantly since enrolling. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a high-quality education for their child. It's definitely one of the best schools in the area.

This is the absolute best school. I feel so fortunate that I found this place for my rising 1st grader, Hope. She entered school for the first time at the age of 6 and began kindergarten. I knew she would be miserable in a traditional school setting. She needs to move around a lot! She needs to do focused work on things she is drawn to. And for certain she needs very special teachers to lead and guide her. Ms. Nadia and Ms. Neelima did all of that and more. While they definitely put education first they also created a loving and nurturing environment where Hope felt free to be herself. She ended the school year more confident then ever before, not to mention she went from only knowing letters to being able to read at the end of the school year. She went from having very limited understanding of numbers (I was concerned) to ending the year adding 4 digit numbers and knowing how to read through the thousands spot. I know for sure her 2 amazing teachers created this winning environment for her. Additionally, Ms Nora who runs the school is amazing. That is so hard to find or should I say nearly impossible. And I don't want to forget the incredible Ms Manuela who seems to do just about everything at the school and does it with a happy and energetic disposition. I'm sure the rest of the staff is incredible too, I just don't personally know them. We are looking forward to returning for 1st grade next year .

We are delighted with the response of the Milton Montessori School to our 5.5 year old Namibian boy who is living with us while burns suffered as a toddler are being treated at the Shriners Childrens Burn Hospital in Galveston, TX. Until he came here in June he had spent five years living on the desert floor without toys, books, a consistent parent presence, electricity or running water. He was, therefore, in our American setting, a “special needs” boy.We became “Gramma and Grampa.” We found that our little boy is curious, energetic, eager to work and eager and quick to learn. He did not hesitate to say “what” or “why” and we encourage his curiosity, This is the 5 year old we brought to Milton Montessori School, to discuss with the Director, Miss Nora, whether or not he would be a suitable student. As two teachers ourselves ( Suzuki Violin teacher, a Cardiologist) we knew that while we could help him with the educational basics, he needed an environment that developed his social skills, his English, and his learning habits and also fostered his curiosity. He needed children who were similarly developing their ability to interact ‘kindly’ with each other and celebrate each other’s progress. I was familiar with the Montessori Educational approach as one that develops curiosity, and guided discovery. It has been a ideal fit over and above our most optimistic expectations. His verbal English vocabulary has rocketed! His learning from home that “kindness” is the MOST important thing, has been reinforced at school. He’s had to miss some school to have his hospital procedures and he has been excited to return and continue his learning. There’s no “catching up” stress. The structure of his day is: he dresses himself in three minutes; school uniform; lunch provided so lots of opportunities for using good table manners; being appreciative and having conversations with his fellow students, building confidence and security. He is loved at school by both children and faculty and he is increasingly loving. His confidence is growing. He’s become a book lover needing a book or two read to him every night and asking to leave a light on so he can “read” himself to sleep. When he arrived he didn’t know his color names or how to count to 3 in his own language (Oshiwambo) or English. He wasn’t ready to start learning to read because he was unable to draw even an “o”. He never had pencils and paper. Now he counts to 20 with understanding, draws with pencils and calls them “words”. He is bursting with the desire to learn to read. The staff and faculty of the Milton Montessori School are skilled, kind, nurturing, compassionate and loving. The school clearly provides a safe, warm and secure environment for each student to gain confidence in themselves, to develop their unique personalities, to learn cooperative and appropriate interaction with their peers and with adults and to receive a broad stellar education including ALL the core academic disciplines as well as the arts. We have the highest recommendations for The Milton Montessori School.
