“We picked up a bronx bomber and Italian combo sandwich to-go and these were some of the best sandwiches we've had in Alpharetta. Everyone should be talking about the Savory Gourmet! Our favorite was the Bronx Bomber- hands down. Quite possibly the best sandwich I've ever had. It's a hot sandwich, piled high with sliced beef and spicy peppers- with a side of au jus. It's warm, soft, savory, spicy, and juicy. So amazing. Five stars!”

“This is my favorite restaurant. The cream of mushroom soup is usually the soup du jour. It is to die for. Croque Monsieur, quiches, everything I have had here is excellent. The atmosphere is very laid back.”

“If you like sandwiches with less bread as possible - this location is your place! Sandwiches are made right front of you and they are a piece of culinary art :). The staff is friendly and patient. We always stop by to get one-two things and leaving with a bag-full - you can't say "no" to their delicious food. Great atmosphere in the store and you can enjoy your meals outdoor as well.”

“The best tasting chicken in this area. On top of all their presentation on cut chicken is so well on saren wrap exposing the freshness. This place separates themselves from the competition because others sells you cut chicken as if they are selling trash in a red plastic bag where you can’t even see how the chicken looks in there.”

“I love that I can just walk to this store. I am happy to see some big changes made by the new management/owners. I remember talking to the previous owner. I see the struggle before, and I know why. It was that lady that works there that doesn’t bother saying hi or smile (I think she’s the manager?) She always makes me uncomfortable to be honest. Every time I see her sitting on that little office, makes me don’t want to buy. The old owner was always not there, and I noticed when he was there then the lady would try to smile (which is weird). The guy cashier came and he is so much better. He is friendly ☺️.In every business like this, it really needs a friendly and welcoming people. People from the nearby apartments would definitely support if they feel welcomed. I am happy to see that the new owner/owners seem to be there a lot, so I am having that welcoming vibe. They are very friendly and I’m excited to see more of the changes that they are planning to make. I start buying my pork chops there now; great deal!!! I also stop by there every time I go to the bakery. The vegetables and drinks are also the ones I always buy. Will do more of my shopping there now. Ohhh, you guys should try the new ice creams. I think I’d like to have a table and a chair outside, so I can enjoy my ice cream there now☺️.Thanks to the new owner/owners and welcome to the neighborhood!!!”

“I've been a customer since they opened. I love this place and its people. Yes I order ahead - why wouldn't you knowing how the shop's clearly explained service priority works? And unlike a lot of places I have zero worry from Mitch's about the meats and fish being anything but top notch and super fresh. Plus - by ordering ahead Mitch always has what I want - butchered the way I want it. Lots of the businesses I support have "rules" I don't love (like breakfast starting at 8 am vs its real starting time of 6 am) :). But I just work around 'em. One of the great things about owning your own business is you get to figure out how to run it your own way. Mitch definitely has a way of running his -- but I'm a raving fan and I love being able to order ahead and just run in and pick it up. Swim with the current! Go Mitch - we appreciate y'all!”
