Ellie is wonderful and does a fantastic job with her creativity in cutting and styling my hair. My hair is thick and curly in the back and straight on top, front and sides.

I have been seeing the lovely Rose for about six months now and she is amazing! She has taken my hair from damaged to healthy and always does such beautiful color and cuts!! And on top of that she is just such a sweet person! Love her!!

I always get best service here. The staff is very hard working and sweet. Rose is my stylist for last 2 years. I like her work cause she takes time to listen and understand how I like to style my hair. She is amazing. I have recommended this salon to all my friends.

Went to Rose for hair color and cut. Showed her pictures of the color I wanted which was brown/caramel balayage. I paid $400 and just got black hair with minimal dark brown highlights. I told her the color was too dark and she said come back to have it lightened. I called a few days later to set up an appointment and was told by Rose that I would again have to pay the full price for a re-do. Yea, no thank you. Never going back. Major rip off.

I’m a recording artist and therefore my hair is very important to me. Although this is a hair salon and I usually get my haircuts with a private barber, this is where I come to dye and perfect my hair/skin and other self care practices that help me be the best version of myself on daily basis. With attention to detail, anytime I was not happy with my hair, I communicated and my issue was resolved immediately. I’ve come here enough times to lose count but for the first time i wasn’t in love with the blonde dye this time. After showing a picture to Fatima of what I wanted, she fixed my hair to the color that i wanted and compensated the extra time it took with a small shampoo bottle which i love

My first visit to Joseph and Friends Hair Styling left me deeply disappointed and regretful. The salon, touted as the best in town, failed to meet even the most basic standards of professionalism and expertise.Having very long hair below my shoulders, I requested a modest 2-inch trim, accompanied by a clear visual reference and specific layering instructions. Regrettably, stylist Bahar not only disregarded my request but also left me with uneven lengths, cutting more than 5 inches in a single line, resulting in a poor haircut.In a surprising turn of events, upon returning, I stumbled upon a review from another woman who had encountered the exact same issues with the same stylist, reaffirming the salon's consistent failure to meet acceptable standards.Efforts to correct the mistake by stylist Fatima proved futile, resulting in an additional loss of over 2 inches!. Outdated tools and electrical failures during the hair drying process only added to the disappointment.While apologies were extended, the salon's outdated tools and lack of professionalism remain incongruent with the reputed standards of Joseph and Friends. What further marred the experience was the incident with Cashier Mohammad, who refused to honor a promised discount. He cited that I had paid the tip in cash for the hairstylists, not through a credit card to him.In summary, my visit left much to be desired, marked by a lack of precision, disregard for instructions, and outdated equipment. The shared experience with another customer suggests consistent shortcomings in the salon's service.It's worth noting that the salon's standards, as people have talked about, are incongruent with the reputed standards of Joseph and Friends. Witnessing the disappointment on others' faces when they saw my haircut, realizing it was done at Joseph and Friends, reinforced the belief that the salon's reputation may be outdated. It was my first and last experience, and it seems that Joseph might be selling his name for the co-founder, Fatima. Clients may enter expecting the quality associated with Joseph's name, only to leave with a haircut that could easily be obtained at a simple local hair salon for a fraction of the price. Paying $76 (haircut and tip) for a haircut that falls short of expectations seems incongruous with the salon's historic reputation. I caution potential customers to reconsider before entrusting their hair and money to this establishment.

I should’ve known that getting a $34 haircut was gonna be a disaster, but I was not expecting to walk out of my hair appointment crying because the hairstylist cut off at least 3 inches more than I asked for. I got my haircut with Bahar and told her I wanted a long bob, left with my hair up to my jaw. When I told her it wasn’t what I asked for, she just responded with “you said it was fine if it was a little shorter than the picture” and took absolutely no responsibility for the mistake. She also suggested I get a keratin treatment so the haircut would look better on me.Service: Haircut
