I’ve been a happy and loyal customer of Davao and client of Mira since 2019 and from Day 1 I’ve been blown away from each and every experience at this salon. Staff from welcome to finish are accommodating, professional and just so fun that it really makes for feel good time every appointment! Mira is truly a gem and her talents range from perfectly executing simple trims and cuts to absolutely nailing vivid colors or whatever client requests come her way - trust me, we’ve done it all! She is always trendspotting and will keep you posted on all the latest trending colors and cuts but is also not afraid to offer her suggestions and lend her expertise for what she thinks will work best for you. She is one of the best in the game and wholeheartedly is invested in her craft and making her clients feel stylish and beautiful. Run don’t walk to book an appointment with her today!

Love! I've had a lot of trouble finding a place to cut my hair since moving to Georgia two years ago, and I think this is it! My husband even said, unprompted, that that haircut I got from Mallory is the best cut I've had in the 14 years we've been together.

I had scheduled an appointment with Mira and I forgot, I called to apologized and reschedule it and the assistant went to ask her and told me that she was not going to attend to me anymore, "kindly" she told me to attend to someone else, in ANOTHER Hair Salon, they didn’t gave me a chance to ask if it was possible if they assigned me another person, another day, and I understand the right of admission, above all you are not obliged to attend someone, but I felt like they kicked me out, that is not how you treat a client. That's not how you treat a person because of a mistake in time. I wouldn't go back to that place either.

I have been there on December 21st. I booked for a touch up roots, cut and blowout. Relaying on the website prices I didn’t do any specific question, having already an idea about the final cost (considering the highest price posted online on their website). After my appointment I realized that I have been charged extra $$$, before the 24% tip that I left. The next day, I contacted the salon via email asking a split of my bill because I could not understand the reason why by bill was higher than what I expected.Immediately after my email, they stated I had the entire head colored, so I thought that there has been a communication problem (it can happen) between the chair and the front desk and for this reason I kindly asked for a refund. Several days after (almost 10), they changed their answer: I had the retouch yes but before the appointment I did receive an estimate about the services (false, emails can prove what I say) and that my assumption about the final price was incorrect because their website -by their own admission- needs to be updated (I have their email with these statements).At the end of the day I think that the service I received on the chair was okay, I really liked Mallory’s work, but the customer service is very unsatisfactory . Two stars is an average vote between Mallory performance and front desk service.

I’ve been going to Davao hair and a client of Mira’a for a few years now. I’ve always been the kind of person to bounce between stylists and different salons and not necessarily stay consistent with my hair treatments in the past. However, after seeing Mira one time, I was hooked. She is a master with vivid colors. The color is always beautiful, regardless of what crazy color combo I request from her. The colors last. Even after transitioning from vivids to natural colors, Mira is still my favorite stylist to go to. (And she gives a killer scalp massage). I generally can’t stand getting my hair cut, but I have to admit that Davao—and their stylist, Tati, in particular—are amazing!!I used to go to more chain hair cut places in the past, and then after Covid hit, I got in the habit of just cutting my hair myself because it was faster, cheaper, and I didn’t have to put up with forced and awkward conversational attempts from strangers. But as good as I got at cutting my own hair, I reached a point where I was trying something different and needed help so I broke down and tried Davao hair studio. I’m so glad I did. The place is super nice, all of the staff are great and make you feel totally comfortable. Tati is wonderful, and even though she’s young enough to not get half of my 90’s references, I actually have a blast talking to her while she shows off her superb styling skills which reminds me I wasn’t as good at cutting my own hair as I thought I was. I’ve been twice now and am actually looking forward to my next visit. And the best part is that even though this is such a nice studio with expert staff, it’s really not much more expensive than what I used to pay at the horrible chain locations. I can’t recommend this studio highly enough.

I loved my experience with this hair salon! It was truely high end experience! Great service, friendly and welcoming staff.It was my very first visit and my hair stylist was Alexis. She listened very carefully what I wanted and what my struggles were with my hair and suggested her ideas and solutions. She also gave me a very relaxing scalp massage which I loved so much! During the process she explained every step she was doing, showed every product she used and what was it for. She also showed me some styling tips and explained how to get the desired result. And in the end, I got a very nice, stylish and manageable haircut. My hair never looked better!

******HAPPY TO SEE THAT I HAD TO POST A NEGATIVE REVIEW TO GET YOU TO RESPOND TO ME.****I never was told that is was a new to the floor stylist, when I made the appointment. I was told that there are not many stylists who cut men’s hair anymore at your salon….totally different. The reason I reached out to you and you chose to ignore my calls/texts and respond via a google review, again can’t face customers) is I am the one who paid for the haircut, not him…so I was the customer!I wrote this review and then read all other reviews…appears the customer service and the owners lack in having the responsibility to speak to client’s concerns is consistent for Davao…I guess they have your money. They could care less…there will always be the next customer for them to ignore.Poor poor customer service from the owners…a men’s haircut took 90 minutes. I called to let them know my disappointment with no one letting me know that the stylist was new to the floor ( stylist is the owner’s sister-in-law) and that I should plan 90 minutes for a men’s cut. I have called repeatedly and texted to speak with someone and the owners Jess and Luz won’t return the call. They hide behind Sue at the front desk and use her as their bodyguard. You shouldn’t be in business if you can’t deal with customers and the feed back….oh by the way, I have been trying to speak to them for 2 months.Service: Haircut

I visited Davao for the first time this weekend. Emily was amazing! I have struggled with how to cut my hair pretty much my entire adulthood. I’m not great at styling my hair everyday, so I told Emily I needed something easy to maintain that still made me look like a grownup (Is that embarrassing to share? Yes. ?). She did a fantastic job! Great attention to detail and great conversation! I will definitely be a repeat client!Services: Hairstyling
