This store is no longer in business as of 09/25/2024. Went there to check it out, & the place was locked up & looked empty inside except for a few things.

Store owner is quite welcoming and keeping store very clean. Antiques are very unique and some of the food, jewellery and clothes, accessories are awesome. I visited first time so purchased cheese wafer and it was tempting. items price reasonable. I will visit again to see more items.??

My friend and I visited this cute little shop while on a weekend getaway. Unlike other antique shops, it wasn't packed to the rim. Which I find nice and not so overwhelming. Also, everything was very reasonably priced. They had local jams and jellies and local wines. Like most shops in this area, it just goes on forever so check out the far back of you visit. The man working in the store was very personable and friendly. It's a great shop!

We toured Georgia College this morning and had some extra time so we stopped by the Red Door. We loved checking out the local wines, handmade and antique jewelry, furniture, arrowheads and other artifacts. The gentleman in the store was welcoming and even offered a small discount of the items we purchased. The store is clean, non-cluttered and the prices were fair. Highly recommend stopping by!

Was visiting lake Sinclair a few weeks ago and decided to walk around town one morning. Happened to come into this cute store with my 2 year old and 6 year old kiddos... It's hard to keep them from touching Things and no sooner had we walked in, my 2 year old ran over to this little doll and hugged it, called it her baby and would not put it down. We let her carry it (to keep hands occupied) but when we went to pay, the owner insisted that she have the doll and would not allow is to purchase it. She was so happy and now weeks later is still toting this little doll around ❤️

For my 2nd Antique store stop, I decided to see this little shop around the corner from where I was at (yes, I could have walked. But, since I have an EV now, I don't have to worry about vehicle emissions). I walking in, I was greeted immediately by an gentleman in his 60s. And, like most stores of this nature, it's not very wide, but it is long. Upon explaining to him the type of Floorlamp that I was interested in, he showed me what he had. 8-) Sadly, the side bulbs were high mount, and not down on the side of the pole. But, he did recommend another Antique store further up on 441 by Lake Sinclair (in North Mville). So, kudos for a clean store, and for referring me to a competitor.

I am always surprised that so many folks in Milledgeville don't know the Red Door. The selection of local products is great (especially the apple cider and the wine, which makes great sangria) and the antiques are fun, too. Run by great people.
