Post Offices near Milledgeville, GA

“I have been sending over 3 packages to an address in Milledgeville, GA. 31061. I paid extra money for signature confirmation from the customer upon delivery, the mail carriers are not taking the package to hand it directly to the reciver and collect a signature. I paid extra money of $3.70! He/she, just leaves the package inside the mailbox of the customer. My customer is at home every time This is the 3rd time. What really bothers me, the mailcarrier logs it in the system that the package was handed to the reciver!!! This FRAUD!! Someone at this post office is NOT doing their job. I have no choice but to write to the postmaster and report this issue! I called the post office at Milledgeville, GA. 31061 Three times and no one is answering!
It is so disapointing that some people don't take pride in thier work!”

“I need a P.O. Box for some stuff that I don't want coming directly to my apt address. So, I took to the Internet, and found this P.O., which is actually a bit closer to me b than the Mville office is. As with most small town P.O.s, I had a little bit of a wait. But, the clerks are quite nice. And, after filling out an application, and presenting 2 ID's (roll eyes, as a state issued D/L is not enough), I got the keys to the box. And, a 6 month rental for the smallest box is $30.00 + a $6.00 key deposit. And, after a minute of hunting for the box (no logical layout, while the box numbers are vertically positioned, the boxes read out right to left), neither key worked! :-o Hence, the 4 Star rating. So, back in to the clerk, and another wait of 5 minutes. I also decided to pick up some Holiday stamps while waiting. However, despite the small size, it's a clean facility in a nice part of town.”
