Have called multiple times and even texted trying to make an appointment no one wants to answer the phone mind you I have been calling since the opened at 10 how are u supposed to make appointments if no one answers the phones or texts during business hours

My hairdresser is the BEST!! I LOVE THE WAY SHE DOES MY HAIR !!! SHE IS THE SWEET SWEET LADY WHO REALLY CARES ABOUT MY HAIR. Amber is up to date on the new styles. Everyone at the Hairbar are super nice. I look forward every haircut and color. My hair is in the best shape that it has been in for many years.. I thank Amber for that!!! I can go on and on about the hairbar. All I can say is if you want a great styles just go to the HAIRBAR. THEY ARE ALL GREAT.

I work in the service industry and never complain about any service I've ever gotten. However, my experience here was bad enough for me to do so. I came in to get my hair colored, and I included the reference image I used along with how my hair came out. The reference images I showed her are of a light auburn/ginger specifically with high and low lights. I told the stylist Kellie that if she wasn't able to do that color, since I had coloring in my hair already, that I could give her an alternative option, but she said she could. What she meant was that she could dye over my entire head a dark brown color with reddish tints (only in bright light). It is completely monotone with no depths or highlights. Not only was this not communicated to me, I completely didn't expect it. If she had told me that's all she was capable of doing, I would have asked her to do my easier alternative option and everything would've been fine. When I asked to speak to the owner about coming back in to fix it, all I got was a snarky text message that also said I could schedule another appointment to fix it. Why would I come back and pay for you to fix something you screwed up? I know options are slim in Milledgeville, but literally go anywhere else than here. The sinks are really uncomfortable, they'll leave you with soaking wet towels around your neck and spray water down your shirt (Which I have never experienced in a salon) They're inexperienced, expensive, and I still have a bump on the back of my neck from their sinks.

This place is adorable and quaint. The use of small space always amazes me. To have multiple stylists set up and decorated so cute without being over the top and having so much extra room is a very good use of space! The first visit I was immediately at ease and able to relax with Ryann doing my hair. She instantly felt more like a friend than a stylist to me. I want to preface this by saying I hate to leave negative reviews (and only do so if I think the review would be helpful to others) & to note that the staff was fairly friendly (the reason I gave 1 star).I went to Hairbar to have my brows waxed and tinted. Before requesting an appointment, I talked to the stylist as I have extremely sensitive skin and wanted to make sure they had the "sensitive"/"gentle" wax (some, but not all places do). She assured me they did. I then talked with the stylist prior to her starting her work about 1) the gentle wax for my sensitive skin, and 2) wanting to completely keep my natural brow shape; I just wanted my brows cleaned up (no reshaping, etc.). Again, I was assured this would happen.My Results:1. The wax left busted blood vessels on my lids beneath my brows.2. The wax ripped skin off that left BLEEDING tears. These developed scabs that lasted 3-4 days.3. An extremely visible & painful burn that eventually scabbed & then lasted for TWO WEEKS. It was severe enough that I couldn't even cover it with makeup.4. My brows looked absolutely nothing like their normal shape: they were different shapes from each other & had been waxed so thin that when I facetimed my mom a few days later she immediately upon answering asked what had happened to my eyebrows/who had ruined them5. The back half of one of my eyebrows had been nearly entirely waxed off: 2 different friends asked me if I had accidentally microbladed half my eyebrow off of my face while trying to exfoliate. It took 2 months for that eyebrow to start to look normal again, and I spent that entire 2 months having to pencil in the back half of my brow so that people would stop asking me what happened.6. The eyebrow tint was completely ineffective - I've had fantastic results elsewhere that's lasted a month; in this case I couldn't even tell I'd had brow tint done by the next morning.I really do wish I'd had a positive experience here, but in the past decade of having my brows done, this is truly the worst experience I've ever had.Service: Body waxing

Ryan is the best. I love her. She always takes time and knows what's best for your hair and your hair type, she's up on hair styles and what she thinks might look good on you and helps you to feel fabulous.

Best balayage ever!!!! I'm from the DC area and was nervous finding a new hair stylist. Ryan is amazing, she listened to my wants and I showed her a few pictures. My hair turned out the best blonde balayage I've ever had! Nailed the color, blending, and shaping my front layers again.

My daughter has used Ryan Lebrun, at the Hairbar, multiple times for a variety of services, from styling her hair for a special occasion, to trims, to color services. Each and every time she has worked with my daughters hair, it’s always turned out perfect and exactly what she was wanting!!Ryan Lebrun is a very understanding and eager to please stylist, not to mention that she is as sweet as she can be! She listens to your wants and does her absolute best to provide. If there is ever anything your unhappy about, she will be open to hearing any complaints and very willing to correct, even if that means working together with other stylists! She is one of those stylists that want you to leave her chair feeling satisfied and beautiful!!! If anyone in the Milledgeville area is looking for a wonderfully talented stylist, please reach out to this young lady!!! She does a fabulous job! Loved my hair cut! Maggie cut it exactly like the photo I showed her! She's the best! We cut of 10 inches and they donated it for me! I never regretted it for a moment. It was aa much needed change and the hair cut has given me a fresh, new look! Just in time for the holidays!! Thanks Maggie!!
