We've had up to 5 units at their Meriweather Road location for many years. They're always clean and the climate controls seem to work well.

DONT RENT A UNIT HERE. HIGH PROBABILLITY OF THEFT!I went by the Meriwether Rd. site to check it out before renting a unit and drove right past an open gate and entered no problem only to find two sheriffs' cars there investigating a multiple unit break-in. I was surprised at the condition of this self-storage place with the huge rock / stone roads and drives there making it impossible to use a hand truck or dolly when moving heavy items in or out of your unit. The place is dirty and unkept with red clay mud everywhere. Capital storage Meriwether's site is a dangerous place to have your belongings. Zero security cameras that I could find, and the gate has a 4-digit combination lock that everybody has the same code to enter & its left wide-open day and night by idiots that won't close it behind themselves apparentlyManagement has zero idea who's coming or going here, and they don't seem to care. I kept looking for a unit and found a great place off of Columbia that had good 24 hr security and proprietary gate codes that take your photo when entering and leaving.

Nice people, nice units. Well maintained. I object to them FORCING their customers to pay for insurance on the contents. Not only is it illegal it’s bad business. What I really object to is there is no way to opt out or provide your own. They FORCE you to buy it from them. This is about as anti American policy I have ever heard of. For that reason I cannot recommend them.
