Post Offices near Midway-Hardwick, GA

“I need a P.O. Box for some stuff that I don't want coming directly to my apt address. So, I took to the Internet, and found this P.O., which is actually a bit closer to me b than the Mville office is. As with most small town P.O.s, I had a little bit of a wait. But, the clerks are quite nice. And, after filling out an application, and presenting 2 ID's (roll eyes, as a state issued D/L is not enough), I got the keys to the box. And, a 6 month rental for the smallest box is $30.00 + a $6.00 key deposit. And, after a minute of hunting for the box (no logical layout, while the box numbers are vertically positioned, the boxes read out right to left), neither key worked! :-o Hence, the 4 Star rating. So, back in to the clerk, and another wait of 5 minutes. I also decided to pick up some Holiday stamps while waiting. However, despite the small size, it's a clean facility in a nice part of town.”

“My hometown post office in Milledgeville is my favorite post office locations. It is not only a post office, but also a Federal building housing other offices of the federal government and when I was growing up it housed the 4-H office. It's also one of the fastest post offices I've been to as far as service from humans go when having to mail a package, change an address, buy stamps, or other postal related activities. My favorite feature of this post office is the murals of Milledgeville history displayed on the walls when you walk in.”
