My wife and went to get a pizza and came home with a Ford Lariat. (and a pizza) My rep Sam Lanier was very courteous and helpful and after our test drive I was sold on the truck. They have taken care of little problems and been what I feel very professional. I give Meter Ford as a great place to do business and good people to deal with.

22Apr19 Spent the last couple of weeks waiting on a vehicle to get fixed so we could pick it up.....and they just sold it. So my family went and looked at a vehicle that was on the lot. Couldn't find it because it was taken apart to replace the motor mounts which wasn't listed on the car reports. A Mr Scott Turner helped us locate it and look at it. We were good with it but couldn't drive it since it waa taken apart. Mr Scott told us it would be done in two days after they received the over-nighted bolts. I am a mechanic in the US Army and I know how long it takes to replace motor mounts so I didn't say anything. I expected him to blame the shippers or mechanics when it wasn't done. Thursday rolls around and "surprise surprise", he blames the mechanics and claim they ordered the wrong motor mount bolts. Mr Scott said no worries. They would notify us when they received the bolts and the vehicle was fixed. They could even bring it to us to test drive. I mentioned we lived an hour away but Mr Scott assured us it was okay. So three weeks later, here we are. After no call or email the next week, we had to reach out to him. He has told us the mechanics ordered the wrong bolts three more times and that management was involved now. Are you sure these are the mechanics you want repairing a motor mount? Mechanics who can't order the correct mounts multiple times? Or is it just standard lying? So we get told they have the bolts and will fix it this past week. We say roger and wait for the call. We ask if they can bring us the car for a test drive. No response. We wait all through Easter weekend. Nothing. We notice the vehicle is no longer on the site and get ready to be told that it's sold when we call. So we call and Mr Scott tells us he will go look around for the keys but you can hear the "Oh man, we messed up" in his voice. So I already know if he calls back, he is going to tell us it sold over the weekend without him knowing - even though he will have forgotten that he told us he works weekends and is off during the week. But it's ok. Maybe I am wrong. So as I write this review, he calls an hour later. Took an hour to make it sound believable I guess because the place isn't that big. And guess what? Someone magically bought the car without his knowing. Wow. Tldr; these guys lie to you and ignore you. They blame problems on their mechanics. Don't shop here unless you buy the vehicke that day.

Somehow I found myself subscribed to their e-mail list when I've never been to their dealership, never been to their website, and never previously heard of them. I'll never buy from a dealership who uses unsavory practices to gain personal information about people.

*Horrible Sales Experience*I recently tried trading in my F150 for a used Expedition and had a horrible and extremely difficult experience attempting to get this done. Metter sales reps and finance reps repeated claim to be a reputable company but made it next to impossible to do business with an out of state credit union. All of which became irrelevant because they incorrectly quoted my trade in value 3 separate times on 3 separate contract quotes and just when everything was taken care of and I was about to take delivery, my sales person Michael claimed the vehicle had been sold to someone else, all to avoid admitting their screw up. I was later explained that the Metter sales team knowingly lied about the availability of the vehicle despite working with a veteran team and then their Finance Manager, Jim, tried to justify it. This is completely unacceptable business behavior not to mention the run around I received for about a month while trying to get this deal done. Know who your sales person is and do your home work because this Ford Dealership knowing lies, misleads and doesnt hold true to their promises. -Joseph Hoolihan Orlando, Florida

After a series of unfortunate events, I called the service department and spoke with Ben regarding repairs. For less than $50 he fixed our truck - and was hands down the best customer service representative I have ever worked with; ever. He went out of his way to handle the problems at hand and assured us that everything was taken care of. He promptly called afterwards as well. I highly recommend this service department, as well as Mr. Ben. THANKS AGAIN, BEN! Mrs. C

After spending most of my "Service time" in the waiting room at Jim Tidwell Ford, I find Metter Ford to be of no comparison. Jim Tidwell is beyond focused on customer service. They come to check on the customer during the cars process of getting worked on. If you are a first timer, they show you to the waiting area and bathrooms and offer coffee/water. I arrived at Metter, Ford with the expectations that I would get the same treatment. It wasn't there.I guess the point of this review is to let customers know there is better if you are willing to drive right down the road. They just didn't cut it for me. I went back recently, just to give them another shot. Thinking not being from the area, I was being too critical. I dropped the car off with the only expectation being, it would probably be ready by the time I got ready to leave for the game on Saturday. I dropped it off at 8:25 and called around 11:30 to figure out what was going on with it since I hadn't received a phone call. Three hours later the car hadn't been touched and no one called to inform me that it wouldn't be completed until 1:30-2 right before the service department closed for the day. The car was brought in for the works. It should have taken at most 45 minutes. 3 1/2 hours later the car had nothing done to it. I went and picked it up and went elsewhere. (The other company had it done within the hour of getting the car) When I picked it up from Metter they informed me it wasn't on the appointment list for the day and because of which it wouldn't get completed until the end of the day. No one called or mentioned anything to let me know of their intentions. When I brought it up, it was my fault for not letting them know I didn't have a set appointment for the day, (which is true, I did not have an appointment. I'm not sure why I assumed all Ford service departments have a non appointment service lane, might have been from the phone call earlier in the week to make sure they could take it, which might also be why it was brought in when they opened to be able to have time to get it done. This was my fault also because I didn't get the mans name.) as well as my fault for not letting them know I needed my car back before 2pm which would be 5 1/2 hours after I dropped the car off. If you decide to go to this service department have an appointment, prepare for them to have your car for a long period of time. Do not expect common curtesy of communication and plan to have a back up plan if your time is valuable. If you are looking at purchasing a Ford, I highly recommend the brand. My dad has a 1995 Ford F-150 that has 350,000 miles on it and is running amazing. My mother-in-law has a 2006 Edge with 150,000 miles on and I recently traded in my Edge for a 2014 Focus for better mpg. we are a family of Fords and wouldn't change that.

Ms. G referred us to this dealer. We love our 1994 FORD Explorer Sport but a leak had formed. Well, Ben and Wes took care of the problem and had us riding again in no time. The waiting area is well appointed and the vending machines are priced right and well stocked. I have loved my Ford for 226,000 miles and these guys have not seen me often. Stop by Metter Ford and let them service your car.
