Have attempted multiple times to try and arrange an appointment. Not just for my current issue, but mechanic issues in the past as well. Not sure if it’s because I’m a woman, not sure if it’s because I’m not one of the “families” in this area.. My friend has good income and is well known in the area and apparently he has no issue getting an appointment or getting work done. Living in Menlo means very few options but being jerked around for over a week, being told to “call back” just to now not have my calls answered. I just needed transmission fluid added to my car— that is it. I didn’t mind waiting for an appointment, I have been very patient. I have the money for the procedure. Like I said, if you are well known in the area or are known for having money— you can probably get an appointment. If you have no other options, and communicate this, it just seems to get worse. Just pay for a tow truck to take your vehicle to Fort Payne or Summerville. I have attempted to use this place multiple times and every time I am jerked around and have not just days but weeks wasted. Could just say “yeah, no, I don’t want to do any work for you” instead of wasting my time saying you’ll call me back or telling me to call back.

I have used many mechanics all over America, but using Goodsons Garage changed my opinion about mechanics!!! Not only is he a great mechanic, but an awesome person to add to that!!! Thanks for being who u are!!!!

Dropped it off and picked it up the same day and the charge was spot on with what I was quoted. They even took care of a few other issues I had mentioned. Very happy with the service and I will definitely be coming back!

Recently had a starter replaced on an older Honda. Not only was the labor much cheaper than other places we checked with, but they finished the work within the next day and also took care of a small seal leak.
