Great spot with great staff. If they see you standing around looking confused they will jump in and help without being asked.Because of the constant great experience I'll be choosing to come here first over any other hardware store.

Now. You would think a simple run to your local hardware store would be so simple… oh I’ll just return some items I bought with the receipt from a week ago and make a quick exchange and all should be ok. “ Hell how can anything go wrong in place I’ve frequently gone to since they are not to far from our place…. And they’ve been open for a few months , and it’s closer than Home Depot or Lowes.”As usuals upon entry I’m met with a barrage of hellos, how are you sir , nice seeing you again, how can I help you. Now I must say some individuals who work here are very nice in a group setting. But if you get them in a corner the real Suspected White Supremest Comes out. “Black Folks no what I’m Speaking to”I go to the cashier/counter.I explained to the representative. which was very pleasant. “Mam I would like to exchange item A as it’s not proficient and I may need an upgrade. Item B were stakes that was to be driven in. Rail Ties and they simply didn’t work. I bought two packs consisting of 13 units per box , in 1 box I attempted to use two to complete the job I was told by the store manager Ed two weeks prior this application would do the trick”. Now at the time Ed suggested this: I thought to myself. These rail ties are thick in nature and surely these flemsy nails stakes won’t hold to the game plan. But Ed OLD suspected white supremist was so convincing these stakes would do the trick. So what did I do spend nearly $30 per box on stakes (2). Now of course I new Ed was upselling. Being that most folks who work with rail ties know you would have to get a great drill gun with many bits to proficiently drive holes in the rail ties and then use an appropriate size 1/2 or 3/4 thick rebar or stake. Ed suggestion was neither. But hey I guess in his day , or the way he does it works like magic. Well no magic for me.I return to the counter after locating the upgrade Item A. Which was a drill gun ?. And proceeded back the cashier. She stated “ I e can return an item A - Drill gun and swap it out if you like. But Item B - Stakes we can only return 1 box winced you used stakes from the other box. Politely I responded. “Yes mam however I used the stakes 2/13 to ensure it wasn’t user error the firs time when I attempted to drive the stake into the rail tie, and the stakes bend at every impact” she stated “sorry the manager stated this” and I ask well “who is the manager and may I speak that person” and to my surprise is was Ed ….. the guy who up sold me the insufficient product.Ed in his usual domineering tone: “Yes sir” I explained as I explained earlier to the cashier. Ed unfortunately did not see it the same. And stated “ I cannot return one box of stakes being you used 50% of the stakes.” No at this point I’m looking very confused. I said “ Ed I used only 2/13, the first stakes was hell user error, the second stakes was; no user error insufficient product for application. Ed then stated “ Well what kind of rail tie are you using:? It works when I do it; this must be a special rail tie”. I responded “ unless the manufacturer makes a different set of rail ties for different folks I’m not sure but I do believe I’m owed a refund” Ed “no this out store policy “ I then said “ well Ed show me that policy this is ridiculous or get the store manager “ Ed “ I am the manager and I said no” I said “ you have a boss Go Get Your Boss Ed!Ed pulls out his walkie talkie to call a woman. In the process of him calling out the woman. A case of stare downs happens. Ed is furious someone is challenging his authority and made him look very bad in front his team. You know the whole 50 percent usage. 2/13 stakes used. So he is visibly upset starring me down. Then suddenly out of Ed’s mouth “ if this was the old days we took care of people like you.” Lol ? ? that’s what was taking place in my mind when hearing his suddle threat and racist comment. While saying this Ed appeared to advancing toward me. I stated I feel threatened and if you pursue what I now believe you intend to do to me based on your commentary and physical actions;

I stopped by this store earlier today to pick up some paint. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional customer service I received. Not only that, but the store itself is so nice!
