I had to visit the Lake Dow branch four times for a very simple transaction that should have only taken one visit. Every employee that I have had contact with is completely useless (Moon, Mark and Umba). I filed a complaint with the district manager which of course did no good.

This was a great bank when it was Suntrust. Now it’s slow and service is poor. I would highly advise not opening an account with this bank. Having a convenient location has no value if the location itself doesn’t function well.

Ive been with bb&t for about a decade. I've also opened up a business account here. After the total lack of concern for customers, the disrespect I've seen, I plan to start transferring my accounts to another business.

Do not use this branch had an issue with my account it took three weeks and wanted to make excuses when Charles Moon vice president of this bank can't do his job and contact his customers back

First off, the website says the McDonough Lake Dow location closes at 6, but they actually close at 5. This is misleading, but I arrived at 4:50. I wanted to withdraw 2900 dollars, only to be told the bank had no money. I was told the reason they have no money, is because their business customers have priority over the money they currently have. I guess the average, hard working father isn't as important as Trusits' business clientele. This is a big disappointment and not what I would expect from a prominent banking institution. I would say it's a " hard No" on banking here. Customer service is not priority here. Please open your account else where.

I have had an account with SunTrust for 40 years... back in the Trust Company days. After visiting this location several times, I am ready to move on from my long time bank. The customer service is terrible, and the tellers show no care or concern for their clients. I waited in the drive thru for 15 minutes yesterday, and when I finally pulled up, the cannister was missing. The teller said too bad that I could come inside: 1) If I had wanted to go inside I would have done that in the first place. 2) The parking lot was packed and the line inside was insane. I asked her if I could deposit my check on the mobile app. She said good luck; it hasn't been working right since the system converted fully to Truist over the weekend. I'm not going to stay at a bank that doesn't even want my business. We all deserve better.

Worse customer service and no regards for their clients. I paid off my auto loan on the 3rd and still have not received my letter of no interest to get my title. I have called 4 times with each call wait time of nearly one hour only to be told something different each time. Also instead of marking the account paid they marked the remaining 8 payments and balance of the loan delinquent. This has hit my credit scores for over 40 plus points each. When speaking to them they said I could file a dispute in which they ruled they were right and I had no claim. They have made no effort to fix their mistake or any effort to resolve anything at all.

After reading the reviews and ratings at this branch. The comments are ATROCIOUS. I was just looking for a SUNTRUST near my location and this MCDONOUGH branch was the closest. When I looked at hours of operation, I happened to see their 2.2 out of 5 star rating. Typically I never look at reviews, but I was curious why such a low rating. Don't bank with SUNTRUST and I only need to cash a check. YES...the customer that issued the check,banks with SUNTRUST. LITERALLY scared to even attempt to go to this location after seeing the comments written from their own loyal customers. I'll take my chances and hope that the outcome doesn't make me have to return with an updated review and/or rating. Keep thinking I'll be saying " I told you so,but you did it anyway" WISH me LUCK! Sure don't want them to put me in "ANGRY & RUIN MY DAY" mode.

Need to cash and as usual the ATM is down so go to go inside the branch and the “lobby” is closed. Long lines in drive through.

My mother has been a customer with SunTrust bank since 1985. She has multiple accts. with this banking institution. For Christmas, she mailed my son a check for his Christmas money as his gift. We went to cash his check and we were given a big hassle and they wanted to charge Him 7$ for cashing her SunTrust check , now I could understand if the check were from another bank but the check was one of their own and given my moms loyalty to this banking institution, I think it’s very unfair as and moreover the entitled democratic staff have a chip on their shoulders but I shouldn’t be surprised . This is demographics of the south side ( Clayton and Henry) counties. Looking forward to leaving this cesspool area next year! Needless to say, we took the check back and went to Wells Fargo to open up a checking account for my son. I will never bank with this money grubbing institution EVER!

Took out a home equity line of credit at this branch. Keeya Walker greeted me with a smiling face and provided excellent customer service! Overall a very pleasant experience.

Mr. Moon is the sole reason for loss of 7 accounts. My wallet was stolen and I was refused access to my account after identity verification.Mrs Walker goes out of her way to ensure a pleasant experience every time I am in this Branch but mr.moon seems to insist on imposing himself where he is not needed. Micro management and refusal of service are a sure way to lose buisness. Would recommend everybody go check out PNC right down the road they even have atm withdrawal forgiveness. I have had nothing but issues with this Branch since Mr moon has been present. If anyone of importance is reading this I recommend immediate action otherwise I guarantee a loss of buisness due to this gentleman.
