This is my teenager's new favorite place to spend time. A lot of things to find. And he was happy to know that they could order books for him. And they called him as SOON AS it came in! Great service!

SOTS is our family's absolute favorite place in Mcdonough! We visit at least once a week. They are a beautiful independent book store, with great staff who each knows so much about books in their area of interest. They have a wine/coffee bar inside and host different events throughout the month. Best place to buy books, gifts, and unique toys. I highly recommend you to stop by and chat with the awesome team, and support a local community business.

I found this cool little place on the McDonough square in my beer tracking app. It was listed as a registered local venue. It is a full on book store with plenty of choices, with a full beer and wine bar in the back. We walked around the store and then checked out their beer choices. Surprisingly, the list was pretty extensive and diverse. Additionally, we noticed they had an upcoming beer tasting. We did order anything this time, but we plan to return another day.

Very cute little bookstore. Everything was well kept and organized. The staff all seemed very friendly and there were several places to sit and relax, including a small bar. They have several book clubs and it definitely seems like a great place to spend a Saturday afternoon with a small group.

This is a fantastic book store and a great place to sit and drink a glass of wine or a cup of coffee. I wish something like this existed closer to me. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and everyone wants to welcome you into this great space.

We had a lovely evening at the Rough Draft in Story on the Square. There was a very nice selection of wine and the charcuterie board was very generous and delicious. Shout out to our bartender, Shelby, who took care of everyone at this “Cheers” like bar.

The rating is solely based on them claiming to have espresso. If your going to serve it, do it well, or don't do it at all. The girl at the counter barely wanted to hear it when I told her the coffee was cold. Well, it's cold because you put an espresso into a glass cup, without pre-heating the glass. When I asked, can you please redo it, she said no. Clearly this barista needs more training. I'll stop at queen bee next time, get my coffee, then come look at your wonderful selection of books. It's just a shame I can't do them both at this establishment.

The only place I buy books. Great staff. The shop has a unique aesthetic. It's a few dollars more than online but it's great to have brick and mortar stores like this.

Attended a 50th birthday celebration in the upstairs event space last night. It was a lovely, well maintained space that accommodated 80 to 100 folks. Catered Indian food, streamed music, nice table setup for cake and presents. Parking can be an issue close to the venue but not a big problem because there is plenty of parking within a couple of blocks of the venue. The bookstore on the first floor has counter seating as well as tables and sells coffee, beer, wine and pastries. Great selection of books as well as gifts. Really cool space.

This is a solid bookstore and wine bar. The book selection is decent, though they're slim in some areas. The folks who work there and wonderful. They're kind, witty, and knowledgeable. They've coffee, tea, wine and beer service. If you're looking for standard fiction, kids material, or religious texts, you'll do well. They've an upstairs event space too.Wheelchair accessibility is easy. If you're willing to walk 3 blocks parking is free.

Wonderful local spot with great seating for readers. A wide variety of books and accessories. I loved the children's section as I found nice gifts for the babies in my life.
