Herbal planet is the best spot in the Atlanta/Atlanta metro area for bulk herbs and other natural products. I have been shopping here for over 5 years now and have yet to find another herb shop that compares. They’re hip to what herbs are becoming sought after and source them when I haven’t been able to find them anywhere else. And the prices are great!I do however miss their smoothie bar soooo much. The best smoothies I’ve had until this day.The one thing that I will say I don’t appreciate about the store is that I get the sense that I am being watched/followed as though I am going to steal something whenever I’m shopping around the store and not at the herb counter specifically. It’s rude and off putting behavior. If there is concern that people are stealing your inventory, get sensors at the door or hire a security guard. Loyal customers, regardless of whether you recognize them or not, should not be subjected to this rude behavior from employees with whom the customers should feel comfortable engaging with.Overall, I’ll remain a patron as I continue my journey into herbalism.

I’ve been going here for two years, if not even longer. After my experience today, Herbal Planet will not receive another cent from me. I entered the store with a friend and immediately we were asked by an employee, if there was something she could help us find. I stated, no and let her know that we were pretty familiar with the store and their products, but thanks for offering.It was as if I had never spoken, we were absolutely followed, hovered over and watched the entire time. It felt like we were under constant surveillance. At one point, my friend and I separated (as we were shopping for different items). I watched in disbelief as the girl at the “security desk” stared intently at my friend on the surveillance monitor screen as she shopped.I immediately put everything away and walked over to let my friend know what I’d seen. Needless to say, she put her items back on the shelves and we exited- never to enter again.All of your customers are not criminals and/or thieves! Some of us are honest, hardworking business owners who are just trying to support a local business.Edit: After speaking with other colleagues, I have come to the conclusion that this was not an isolated occurrence. As of lately, the practice of following patrons around and watching them- to the point of making them uncomfortable is a normal practice.Do better!

First time visiting location...staff very helpful and friendly. Special Thank you to Mrs.Beverly she was very helpful and knowledgeable with my health needs. I will return even though I reside in Stone Mountain. Must also add they have a large array of products for all your needs

This shop has an abundant supply of herbs and supplements to choose from , plus fabulous incense , oils , candles, soaps and Florida water which is my favourite item to buy there .

I usually have a good a good experience in this store and everyone is kind and helpful but today something must have been off. Off enough to make me want to leave a review which I don’t do often. I visited the store with my 6 year old child and he asked if he could go play in the back where they have a table with legos. I stood less than 10 feet away browsing while he played. Well, as a child does, he played with the legos and knocked some on the floor. One of the store employees stood close by keeping an eye on him and huffed and puffed because of his “mess”. I am not the type of parent to let my child leave behind a mess, but she decided to go ahead and pick up the blocks as he played. If blocks being on the floor is an issue, the Lego table should not be there. Kids will be kids. We were also rushed out of the store right as it turned 6. That’s understandable but maybe a 10 or 5 minute warning would of came off less hasty. Overall, we did not feel welcome today. Also, I noticed that the colloidal silver they were selling in store for $100 is sold online by the company for significantly less money, so prices are clearly exorbitantly marked up.

I love the store and come here for soap. The staff is usually kind and pleasant but today Val didn’t seem so pleasant. She looked so irritable just because I asked to do credit instead of debt. Threw the pen on the counter. No need to be fake nice. Just stay home if you’re not happy to be there!

I spent an hour in this store looking at the things I needed for my house because it’s been a bit since I’ve restocked oils, diffusers, and vitamins. My husband and I get to the register to pay for our things…$228 to be exact and Donna who did not help us out at ANY point in our hour long visit proceeded to accuse me of putting an essential oil in my pocket.
