The staff is very welcoming and extremely kind to the animals in their care, I recommend them to anyone looking for a good vet that has a fantastic and affordable wellness plan. I have been bringing my two boys Butters and Nico to them since they were puppies. It takes big hearts and lots of patience and empathy to do what they do, and they do it well. Even if your fur baby has weird triggers like eye contact, they will do their absolute best to make sure your dog feels safe and they go above and beyond when it comes to safety for everyone involved. My boys are always in the best care here, thank you Eagles Landing Veterinary for what you do!

First I want to share that my pets have never been seen here but I’m glad I’ve read the reviews. I have a Belgian Malinois, a Cane Corso and a Pit Bull, all very loving, people friendly dogs. I was considering giving this practice my business because I just moved back to McDonough and I live within 3 minutes of this vet clinic (I’ve mainly utilized 2 vet clinics since I lived in GA, both provided great care, McDonough Animal Hospital when I first moved to McDonough and Killian Animal Hospital when I lived in a different area). At the time I only had 1 dog but now having 3 large breed dogs to tote around, I was really needing “the closer the better” option. However, after reading these reviews I will have to rethink that decision. Not only am I a dog/animal lover but I’m also in the medical field (Registered Nurse) and I expect a great deal of professionalism, knowledge, experience, effective communication, customer service and care to be provided to my fur family members. The responses by office staff to some of the complaints, concerns, experiences etc were distasteful and lacked empathy but quite honestly were downright full of excuses, finger pointing and blaming. Whether wrong, right or indifferent, I didn’t see ONE response from this practice holding themselves “accountable”, offering an apology for how these people feel/felt or showing compassion for what some of these fur babies and parents experienced. We are human, we make mistakes and sometimes things happen but to assume that out of all the 1 and 2 stars, EVERYONE else but YOUR practice is wrong is truly what sealed the deal and made my decision for me. However the worst one by far was the dog having a medical emergency after a surgery that YOU completed. You should be ashamed of yourself, I don’t care what time you close, that dog needed you and by YOUR OWN ADMISSION you recommended they take their pet to a 24 hour emergency vet instead of providing care. That was HORRENDOUS and should’ve been reported. Even a same day surgery center that closes at 5 will “stabilize” someone in a medical emergency then assist with transfer, not say “go somewhere else”, just WOW. AND to the family that “got loud”, GOOD FOR YOU advocate for your fur babies because I would’ve done the same!!!! My dogs are my family and I want the BEST care for them.

I am very happy with this veterinary clinic. All staff members are kind, compassionate, and professional. I particularly like Dr. Joey. She is a great vet with her patients and their humans.

The front desk service was amazing, they were so kind and helpful & showed our puppy so much love. The vet tech also was amazing and kind made us very comfortable, although I wasn’t pleased when I asked the actual Vet about ear and tail cropping. I understand it’s not for everyone to like or prefer but I didn’t like the comment about how it’s inhumane and illegal somewhere far from here. I felt it was unnecessary & a little judgmental and it made us very uncomfortable with asking her further questions.

I had a great start at Eagles Landing Vet Hospital. The receptionists were very friendly. I took my Rottweiler, George, there for the first time, along with my son who managed to keep George under control. When we got to the examination room, we met with the vet assistant, who was also friendly, but not as knowledgeable about my breed as I would expect for a Veterinary Hospital. However, my view of the visit changed when the doctor came in. She immediately showed a dislike towards Rottweilers, which was evident in her mannerisms and attitude. She admitted to having a childhood experience with Rottweilers and did not trust any of them. When trying to administer his medication, they immediately began holding him down instead of allowing my son and me to prepare him. If you know Rottweilers, you know that they will not allow you to hold them down aggressively without knowing what's happening, so he rebelled. The entire examination could have been handled differently. I left feeling very discouraged. In my opinion, if the vet had such a strong dislike for Rottweilers, she should have restricted them from the beginning or she should reconsider practicing medicine. Also, to assume that all Rottweilers are the same is just poor taste for a vet. This, along with the upselling that the tech was trying to do, left me feeling really upset.
