Purchase a Toro, lawnmower on line, had to pick up. Came in a day early so I got a text asking me did I want them to put together, I call the store and said of course. Excellent experience, everyone was so nice. They even loaded my lawnmower in my car for me. Location highway 81!

Unfortunately, I can't say that I've never had a bad experience here before, and that's just a shame.. The only reason I give 2 stars is because typically, the staff here is great
I have frequented this store for a little over 10 years as it's the most convenient one to my house to grab something quickly versus going all the way across town to the big box stores. They don't have a huge selection, their prices aren't the best, but it is convenient and I have always found the employees to be as helpful as they can be as well as kind and courteous. Passed few times I've been in here I've noticed a particular woman (employee) who speaks with a horrible attitude, I watched her roll her eyes at a customer couple weeks ago as they asked her a question, and the couple times I've called the store and spoke with her were not the greatest experiences..
Today, while one of the associates was helping me cut some keys, I had told him I brought in a set because it was for a classic car and I wasn't sure if they would have the blanks for it. He told me no problem, it'd be $3. While at the key counter, he was checking that they had all the blanks in stock and asked another employee at the register across from us, Cheryl or Sherry, if she could print him off a blank key form. This lady lost her ever loving mind and hollered, "It absolutely kills me that they do that." Then continued to complain loudly, in a store full of customers about how there's a big sign, blah blah blah outside keys blah blah blah. To the point that I turned around and told her I didn't know they didn't do outside blanks anymore, I didn't see a sign anywhere, and told her it was for an old car and I only brought them in, in case they didn't have the blanks. She immediately got quiet. I turned back around to the gentleman who was helping me and apologized to him and told him (loud enough for her to hear), "I apologize for bringing in these blanks, I thought I was being helpful, I wasn't trying to offend anyone. Sheesh, God forbid.." Petty.. I know, but oh well.
I felt horrible for the gentleman helping me, I know our interaction turned awkward for him immediately. To my surprise, his tone never changed. He continued to help me find all the blanks I needed, cut all 3 sets of keys for me, and I asked him when they stopped accepting outside keys and he explained it had to do with 2 of their new key machines and their warranties. He actually apologized to me for Karen's outburst. I went and checked out, and the cashier was kind, smile on her face, courteous, the only time her demeanor changed was when I asked for the "cranky lady that was hollering earlier." I hate that one bad egg snuck her way in, I hate that her coworkers probably have to apologize for her behavior often, and I hope the store ownership sees this and something is done about it.. completely unacceptable.
PS I still haven't found the sign she was yelling about... ??♂️

Evidently only some Ace stores will exchange or return items if the were bought at that location, even if they say Ace on the unopened,unused item.
This location is my local store but I will continue to drive to Conyers.
