Kroger is a popular grocery store that offers a wide variety of food and household products from well-known brands. Customers can find fresh produce, meats, seafood, dairy, baked goods, and home essentials all in one place. The store also features a Starbucks inside, a bakery with cakes and cookies, an olive bar, and a hot food area, making it a convenient shopping destination. Many reviews highlight that the store is kept clean and well-stocked, with fresh produce often praised for its quality. The deli counter carries Boars Head cold cuts, and the seafood section offers a good selection of fresh and frozen items. However, some customers notice a slight foul smell in the meat aisle, though it does not affect the quality of the meats purchased. Prices tend to be higher than at competitors like Walmart and Publix, especially for meats and staples. The store's mobile app is appreciated for allowing customers to build shopping lists and claim coupons easily, enhancing the shopping experience. Overall, staff members are viewed as friendly and helpful, with exceptional service from employees in the deli department during busy times. A few customers express frustration when items are out of stock or when they experience being stared at at self-checkout. Despite some minor issues, Kroger is generally recommended for its variety, cleanliness, and friendly service.
Produce and meat departments are atrocious. Produce is either moldy, half rotten, or latent with flies. Meat cuts are thin, low quality, and overpriced. I will not be back

Every single week when we get groceries, atleast 1 of the meats(with a allegedly good date) is expired. Many times it's more than one package of meat thats expired. It adds up considering the meat department smells horrible and rotten. Fuel points and free items are the only thing saving kroger from a 1 star review.
