Keep expectations low when you go rural. For the area is a great place to grab things you need. Gas,beer , etc, be prepared for no bathroom. Don't compare it to a chain store, and you will be fine. I use this store often because I live in the area. As long as you go with the right mindset and aren't expecting more than the area offers, you will be fine.

Misleading. I got the gas station mixed up with stumpys playhouse...I was looking to get filled up but not on gas.

Old mom-and-pop gas station with basic amenities hard to enter drive if you've got a trailer towing but other than that decent prices on gas on the lake

Fridge could be colder for all drinks. Nice owner and employees. Adequate overall. They could almost do a little grilled lunch here.

We were camping at Lake Hartwell and needed some more supplies so we stopped in at Stumpy's and I am so glad we did. Nice little general store/gas station and the woman that checked us out was so friendly she really made my day. Definitely stop by if you need supplies and are in the area!

No pay at pump, didn't have a restroom... The guy working there didn't seem to care if I bought anything or not. Dirty and low stock levels. Was not the worst, but certainly was not a great place for a pit stop.
