A Hardcore gym is one thing, but when the gym is more like a sewer than a hardcore gym, it's disgusting. The people who own it are thieves and parasites. I signed up online, upon going in the first day, I was lectured by the front desk person. That person look more like a sloth as opposed to a gym worker; any proceeded to tell me that I should have signed up in person so he could get the commission. Clearly my first day in this so-called gym was starting out not good.Once you make the mistake of wandering into the gym a little further, your shoes will be sticky immediately even on the open gym floor. So it's gross. Then I walked into the men's so-called Locker room. This place looks like a 1970s basement in Brooklyn in the winter, where squatters hang out and pee wherever they like. It always WREAKS of fresh urine; ane the floors were even more sticky than the floors. There's not much equipment, and what they do have is lacking. I started sending messages and calling them saying that I would like to cancel in my third week. I gave them the reasons for that which are listed above. They ignored me. When they did call me back they were laughing at me on the phone as I gave my reasons for quitting. So I quit and didn't go back.Next thing you know the degenerate so-called business owners have sent my account to NetCollections (a collections agency, specifically for low skill gym owners) and now I have a collection agency calling me. The gym is disgusting they did not provide services, they do not clean the place up. And they're so entitled and parasitic that if you quit they will send a collections agency after you. And as you'll see in most of these reviews, they will tell you that you were in the wrong. They will tell you that they determined that you did the wrong things. But they are the ones who are in the wrong; they are personification of the entitled parasitic thieves that are so common in this world nowadays. Lazy entitled terrible business people. The people that run this are not business people, they're people who started a business and nothing more. They don't know how to run it, they don't know how to provide customer service, if their gym sucks it's somehow your fault. Don't forget that. That seems to be the case with these 24-hour franchise gyms; most of them are gross and lacking.Let's not forget the so-called tanning bed or whatever the wave massage thing is. Absolutely disgusting and on any given day the health department would close this place down for these slimy pieces of equipment alone. The locker rooms are disgusting, the so-called Sun Tanning and massage equipment is layered in some kind of film. In the gym is just otherwise ill equipped and dirty.Go here if that's your thing. Go here if you like snotty and titled awful business owners. And if you like dealing with collections agencies who call you and talk to you like you're the thief, join here. They're trying to scam me for $146. Frankly it'd be more worthwhile to take the time and resources and attorney to go to small claims court just to expose these parasitic business owners and the collection agency that, We'll say, "services" them.I don't mind them calling me and laughing at me about how bad their gym and their services are. And I'm hopeful and confident they'll put one of their sad sorry justification comments here. They can Trash Talk me and we can compare resumes and business backgrounds. They don't even rate. So I hope they leave me a nice long comment attempting to justify their sh*thole. Anything they say will leave that hole, and move to their heads. Nothing more.

I can't say I was impressed. I signed up at the Whitlock location, but powers ferry is closer, plus I was hoping to use the red light machine, since no other location has it. However, when you walk in, the main floor doesn't smell that great. I also have an LA fitness membership and they keep it tidy and clean. This location had bathrooms that smelled like they haven't been cleaned in days, and they only have a single shower. It's not the end of the world but, some machines are broken. Like besides prime location, what other saving grace is there? I'm not trying to be Insulting but they really need to put more care into this location, especially considering how much smaller they are compared to LAF. Don't ask me what you can do, just put more pride into your business and work to give customers a better experience. Most of us aren't asking for much.

I was VERY hesitant to come to this location after reading the negative reviews about the cleanliness of this location. I almost talked myself out of it with my husband, but I decided to give them a try to see what MY experience would be like. To my surprise, EVERYTHING was clean, neat, and tidy. Although the ladies room had a little stale smell to it, it was very clean! Nothing a Glade plug-in can’t fix. The cleaning towels were folded neatly by the front door and ready for use. The sauna was clean and I’m glad I had an overall good experience. My home gym is in a different county, but some of their amenities are out of service. I was greeted by Marie, a new employee. She was very attentive, friendly, transparent, listened and answered my questions to the best of her abilities. I talked to her about the reviews and how cleanliness is very important to her as well. Honestly, I only want to go when I know Marie is going to be there because I know I will have a pleasant experience and everything will be CLEAN! Based on the reviews, it appears this location is taking the feedback seriously and they’re headed in the right direction to turn things around for the better. Thanks for a WONDERFUL experience, Marie!!

I had an issue with my membership and wanted to give a review in thanks to Lauren’s top-tier customer service. Lauren was knowledgeable and communicated promptly to help resolve my issue. Thanks, Lauren!

UPDATE August 2023: They've improved. Still bad, but only 60% as bad as my original review. Bumping up by one star. Will keep this review updated for a while in the hopes it inspires further improvement. The worst-smelling bathrooms I've experienced in my life - not just in gyms, but anywhere. Hot, stale urine, plus a strong undercurrent of BO. It's like they had a dozen horses relieve themselves on the floor, then let it marinate for months. NYC subway stations in July are pleasant compared to this. It's been this way since I've been a member. They never clean it.

If I could give this a 0 star, I would. This establishment is awful. Please save yourself a headache and go to LA Fitness across the street. The owner, Virginia Smith does not care about her gym or staff. This place is always dirty and things are always falling apart. New employees are not properly trained. They are told to do whatever they need to do to sign a new member up. I ended up spending a total of $130 on a membership that shouldn’t have cost me a thing because of my paid membership through my health insurance. This was all a result of a poorly trained employee signing me up incorrectly. Instead of the owner, Virginia Smith, owning up to a mistake made from someone on her staff, she was adamant on me making the payments because $130 was more important to her than standing by a customer supporting her business. Because of this, she’s now lost me as a member as well as 5 of my friends and family. I would never recommend thisPoorly ran facility to anyone. Go somewhere else and save yourself the trouble!

I’m honestly so tired of coming in for a workout and seeing this gym trashed. Here *right now* on a Monday morning and there has clearly not been anyone here all weekend. The floor is trashed, old spray bottles and sweat towels everywhere. Weight plates and various equipment all over the place. The water fountain has not been cleaned in months and that’s not even getting into the women’s bathroom. I have brought things up to desk workers when there actually is someone here but Nothing has been done. Come on WO ANYTIME Marietta South, this locations needs to do better, it’s honestly GROSS.

Friendly staff, great location and good equipment selection, but the gym is consistently dirty - particularly the bathroom/locker rooms and the smell is awful. Seems they easily go months without cleaning the bathroom/locker rooms.Edit: I visited the gym today and noticed the staff was meticulously cleaning the equipment and vacuuming the floor. Hoping they pay more attention to the locker room areas and will certainly revise my rating upward if the trend continues!

Small gym with everything you need. Don't pay mind to the handful of negative reviews talking about "homeless people" and saying that the location is "dangerous". (to me it sounds like competitors writing bad reviews, or racist people that can't stand being in a neighborhood with many different people of color ). This place is not dangerous in the slightest, and I haven't seen any homeless people lurking or anything like that. You need a keycard to access the gym at night, and the people that train here mind their own business. The price is a bit steep for what you get ($40 a month), but it's better than dealing with the LA Fitness business model, or other gyms in the area that dont have half the equipment this one has.It gets a bit crowded around 5-7pm but it's not too bad. The staff is friendly and helpful, although you can tell they're understaffed. There's always clean towels and spray bottles.Plenty of cardio machines, and all the weight machines you need, as well as free weights. dumbbells, kettlebells, and barbells (straight and ez barbells). Although lacking a good straight pull up bar with resistance bands.Overall a decent gym, one of the best in the area.

This gym is alright, I’ve gone through about 8 trainers within the year of my training membership( bad pay-$7 a session is highway robbery especially when each 30 min session is being charged to me $45). I really only come to this location a few times a month but the Whitlock location is much nicer.

This place is a great alternative to Crunch Fitness. However, I believe I WAY overpaid for a basic month-to-month membership - on 10/12/2022 I visited in person with a free 1-day trial pass and signed up for a membership, paying $80.99, then of course 45 days later I was charged the standard annual fee of $39.00. However as of 2/9/2023 on the website it says it is supposed to be $35.99 due today for a basic month-to-month. Long story short visit first in person and then sign up online. My response to the owner below: This is 100% the correct location (next to Rio in the same plaza as Microcenter). I have been going to this location for the past 3 months for my workouts.

I got a super bad vibe from this place it started in the parking lot. When I walked in the lady was super friendly but the first thing I noticed was the place was really small. I informed her I had a day pass but she was helping others and instructed ne to wait so she could give me a tour which was super weird since you can see the entire gym from the entry. I honestly just wanted to workout and check the gym out myself I didn't care for a tour. Second thing I noticed was the treadmills are right there by the entrance. I'm super insecure about my butt and breast jiggling while I run and now every single person who comes in will see me and thats too distracting from my focus on working out. I didn't even bother with the free day pass I just left

Not clean, no clean towels, homeless people often reside. That is true, I advised management and staff. I was advised to call the owner and she did not answer. The police has even been notified. Rather, than take ownership of the problems, how about ensuring the gym is safe and clean. I don't think that is too much to ask of a health establishment.
