Shopped here on June 15 about 5...6 pm. Young lady at jewelry was unbelievably helpful and friendly. Same at cashier 9. A young friendly man checked the purchased items that set off an alarm. Professional and kind. I left the store smiling. Never encountered such a wonderful service in years!

Wish I could give 0 stars. The women who work here are so incredibly rude that it is unbelievable! Not a single woman at check out or the dressing room is friendly. Wish I got the name of the lady I had to experience today to report her for being so rude. Called me over to her check out, then went off to gossip with someone else while I stood there for two minutes. Then instead of saying “hi, how are you, sorry for the wait” when she returned to the register, she ripped my items from my hands! I couldn’t believe it. She was so rude throughout the whole transaction. I genuinely never want to shop here again. Who ever runs this store needs to make every single employee take a training on proper customer service. I haven’t even mentioned the people who are stocking items who just shove past you without so much as an “excuse me.” If the prices weren’t so cheap no one would shop here. Is the deal worth the rudeness? I don’t think so

Best best best Tjmax and home goods in the country. I travel a lot in the US and live 45 min away from this Marrietta store in GA .
Every time I come here I love the energy in the store .. the MOST IMPORTANT GREAT VIBE MAKING THIS PLACE SPECIAL IS EDDIE the manager. What a great welcoming soul he is .. tj max chain has to promote him to an instructor to all TJ MAX STAFF at least in GA . .

I love everything about this store. I spoke with another customer last week and she agreed that this particular TJ Maxx has the best quality , some designer products. The prices are affordable in this one has the best selection. The staff is always friendly. The HomeGoods store is wonderful.

I would give it negative stars if I could. My mother and I were at this location today (3/14/24). We initially came in to do a return for an online purchase bought with Klarna. Before the return was done, I decided to look in the beauty/skincare area. I noticed certain people (non-black) were shopping in peace, while I noticed the workers were keeping a good eye on me. Nonetheless, I continued to browse and look since I can normally take my time and find some good hidden gems since it’s not as crowded as the weekend. My mother, by this time, had made her way to the jewelry counter to start her return, and I came over. The elderly cashier said she didn’t know how to do the return, and she had never heard of Klarna, so we asked for a manager. The manager (who actually was watching me earlier; I didn’t know it was the manager at the time, but as I was looking at skincare, he came over to pull an employee who was on the aisle with me, saying he needed her on the cash register. He walked off but immediately doubled back and literally just stood on the aisle with me, but pulled out his cell phone, pretending to text and stood there until I left the aisle). Once this same manager came to the jewelry counter, we explained we were trying to return a purchase made online with Klarna. He told us the only way he could do the return was by giving us a gift card, even though we had the receipt / proof of purchase. I gave him an example of my experience having to return something I purchased with Klarna and said normally it’s refundable, but I still have to pay the Klarna balance in full. He says that’s not their store policy. I said, Well, we have returned online purchases before like this and never had a problem. He reiterated that it wasn’t their store policy. I left it at that and told my mom to return it online. What wasn’t appreciated was the loud-talking, rude manager. The escalation of his voice and saying Klarna out loud as if it’s supposed to be embarrassing (it wasn’t and isn't), but at no time did we raise our voice or get rowdy. After he told us the second time that it’s not their policy, that’s where it ended. He walked away, and we stayed because my mother decided to still purchase some items she had been looking for. We look up from the purchase, and now security is walking by. It doesn’t take a genius to notice the passive aggressive tactics. I know TJ Maxx won’t do anything about this, but just a caution to black people: you fit the description in this store, whatever that may be. Also, you may want to check your cameras and look at your clearance section, as there was a young Caucasian lady stuffing items in her shorts ?. This experience has left a poor taste in my mouth, and moving forward, I’ve decided I’ll no longer be shopping at any TJMaxx location. If you’re not going to watch and hover over everyone, then allow people to shop in peace. I’ll take my hard earned money else where were I’m not treated like a potential thief solely because of the color of my skin.
