“I can’t believe I haven’t made a review of this place. I come here ALL the time. They always have such good things for sale at reasonable prices. Not to mention the money goes towards helping out shelters for animals in need. Amazing store with an amazing staff. I always have an absolute pleasure coming here.
For people complaining about the prices, they aren’t even that bad. This isn’t goodwill where they’re selling free items and pocketing the money. The money actually goes towards a good cause and unfortunately running a charity just isn’t free.”
“Owners were so incredibly kind. I loved my experience here. had so many interesting items at an affordable cost- my favorite was the huge selection of old old books! I was obsessed. stood in there for over an hour looking through them & making my selections & never felt rushed or like i was bothering them once. Scored some INCREDIBLE books from the early 1900’s & for an insanely great deal. Cannot believe I waited so long to visit this hidden gem! I will definitely be back. Hurry in while they have their 30-50% off sale going on ?♀️”
“This Thrift Store has lots of nice furniture and home decor plus much more. It's like a higher class thrift store than Good Will and the prices are a little more than Good Will prices, but they have much higher quality items than you find in Good Will.”

“I have loved the location in Kennesaw for years now, and only found out about the Marietta location in late 2021. This is a volunteer run shop with the most amazing people who really care to help you have a nice shopping experience. This location just like Kennesaw is always selling VERY gently used items and even a good bit of the time I will find things that are literally brand new with tags. Thank you for the generous donations of the community, as it is hard to find clothing that fits and thrift shops like SVDP are a lifesaver for finding all styles of clothing in your size at one spot. The holiday sales are especially generous where they will sell themed items for very very low prices. Thank you to this location for providing me such warm customer service during my pregnancy when I was here collecting baby items and baby clothing. :)”
“I finally went in. Can’t believe it took so long. I loved it. There were definitely some treasures and plenty of practical things too. I liked the organized clean feeling. I also liked that it was big not huge and overwhelming. I left after buying a French 1920s carved marble pendant.”

“This thrift store truly is a diamond in the rough - when you first walk in, the sheer size of the space is impressive, but otherwise looks kinda drab. Clean and well lit, but boring. Once you start looking around, however... I have found treasures and surprises beyond count! Kids stuff, furniture, housewares and electronics, you name it, it's there. Prices are pretty good, plus they always have 30% and 50% off tag color of the week. Plus they have a rewards points system for more discounts and THEY ACCEPT RETURNS! Staff have always been super friendly and helpful. Checking out can sometimes be a bit of a wait, but certainly no worse than a typical WalMart wait time.”
“This is my absolute favorite Goodwill. I always find great things in here and the customer service from Deborah and Teresa are always wonderful. I also like that they have arranged all their clothing by color. Makes shopping here easy and enjoyable!!! Can’t wait to come back!!”

“My recent visit to Goodwill Thrift Store & Donation Center was a delightful thrift shopping experience! The store had a wide variety of items to choose from, ranging from clothing and accessories to electronics and household goods.
As I browsed through the aisles, I was impressed by the selection of items available. I found some hidden gems, including Wii and Xbox 360 games, as well as a sturdy computer bag that caught my eye. The affordability of the items made it easy to justify picking up a handful of treasures.
The staff at Goodwill were friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers. Whether I had a question about an item or needed assistance locating something specific, they were always ready to lend a hand.
Overall, my experience at Goodwill Thrift Store & Donation Center was positive. The combination of a diverse selection of items, affordable prices, and friendly staff made for an enjoyable shopping trip. I would highly recommend this thrift store to anyone in search of unique finds and great deals.”
“Great experience. I was sent here from the Smyrna donations only location because they only accepted 2 bags there. Here a woman quickly spotted me and asked her coworkers to help me. An employee came out and directed me to put my bags in the blue bucket and they had no problem accepting all the things I had.”
“I normally stop at this GW while visiting the area. The whole shopping center is undergoing a facelift, looks really nice. The area as others have stated isn't the safest looking, take precautions. Lots of parking, and quite a few others stores in the lot. The store is very clean, organized, and neat looking. I have walked out of some GW because of the clutter. You can actually find some good finds if you take the time to look. I found a exercise video & some canning jars that I needed. The store is a pretty good size. All the employees seemed nice and willing to help.”
“I love that they lot hard goods together into large bags and price them as one item instead of individually pricing every single thing like Goodwill does, it makes it so much more affordable to shop here.”

“I came here about a month ago, because it’s not that far from my work. They have pretty good stuff! Prices seem a little higher than my normal Goodwill, but this location does have more brands than my normal Goodwill, which is nice. Parking is free, clean store, very organized. The reason why I didn’t give 5 stars, is because no one greeted me when I entered the store and the employees seemed like they were in a bad mood or something. They weren’t friendly. Besides that, everything else was good. I’ll still shop here because they have a nice collection of good and clean items, but the employees should b able to work on their people skills.”
“Great variety of stuff, good prices, clean store. And this Goodwill has actually conquered a problem that every other Goodwill store has. Most goodwills are great until it comes time to check out. Then you want to kill yourself. I know whoever is running these stores is smart enough to figure out you need more than one cashier and the cashiers that you have can't be the worst possible multitaskers have anxiety issues, no sense of urgency or be completely catatonic. When you see 11 people lined up at one register that should trigger your little brain to say hey we need to help that poor soul at the cash register. Well this Goodwill seems to have that down even the checkout process here is usually pretty good. General manager, call the other stores and shame the people who allow this type of checkout procedure to continue. Educate your peers please. And bravo do you serve very nice job.”
