Stanley House Mansion is truly a special and spectacular place! My husband and I are upon our one-year anniversary, and we want to start celebrating by first thanking all of our wonderful wedding vendors for making our special day just the most incredible day of our lives!I remember so vividly calling down a list of potential reception sites, and didn't find myself connecting with any of the places/people...until Sherry at Stanley House picked up my phone call. :) She was instant warmth and friendliness and was SO excited to give me a tour. (Even that first fateful phone call was such a different feel from everyone else and just wedding-magical!) When Jordan and I went for a tour of the grounds, we were absolutely floored! It was absolutely beautiful and elegant, but also had the charm and intimacy that is so hard to find. There was just no question - we fell in love with Stanley House and the staff right away. I could not wait to come back!I cannot imagine our wedding reception being anywhere else - Stanley House is simply the best of the very best. Because they are all-inclusive, you do not have to worry about a thing - They've got everything covered. Their wedding packages are very reasonably priced and the vendors they work with are total perfection: Adriane's Delectables, Confection Perfection, Pavel VK, A Delicate Petal, and so on. These are award-winning vendors! I loved that Stanley House provided us with a one-stop shop, where we knew the price of EVERYTHING right off the bat (they also have packages if you're on a tighter budget), and Stanley House was willing to work with us no matter how long or short our engagement was! Wedding planning was such a joyful process because they took such good care of everything and their vendors work with them all of the time so they already know the ins and outs! Jordan and I were able to sit back, relax and enjoy picking out our menus and cake flavors and such!On the day of our wedding, the Stanley House staff not only took care of everything so I didn't have to worry about a thing, but they also treated me with such warmth and care - That does NOT happen in most places, I am coming to find. It was like having warm-hearted family taking care of me! They were so excited about my ideas- including my hot cocoa bar idea- I cannot thank them enough for the way they treated us. Such care and so much love for what they do.To the staff of Stanley House - Sherry and the Megs - you gave us the most beautiful wedding day. There just aren't enough words to tell you how grateful we are that you were our wedding coordinators. You made the day the absolutely beautiful and incredible day that it was! My family and friends are still raving about Stanley House and our wedding. Thank you, with all of my heart, for making our wedding day more beautiful and wonderful than we could have ever imagined!Love, Kelly and Jordan Supler

Our wedding took place at Stanley House this past weekend and I can't express how grateful I am to the whole staff for making it such a spectacular day! Meg and Sherry are absolute pros, they make running an event look easy and made us feel like we had nothing to worry about all day.I highly recommend using their provided vendors, as the only major hiccup of the day occurred because we decided to use an outside DJ, which was very much our fault! Unless you have something incredibly specific in mind as far as food or florals, their vendors do a great job pulling off a seamless event. I would say that getting in touch with vendors was a little less direct with the all inclusive aspect, but for those who don't want to get bogged down in the details (like me), this is the perfect option. The inn itself is wonderful as well; both the event space and the guest rooms are incredibly charming. We had a guest count of maybe 90-95 people and we were all able to fit very comfortably. Our wedding party had such a great time spending the night and had the most delicious breakfast in the morning.Sending a big thank you to Meg and Sherry for making our day so special! I highly recommend Stanley House as both an event space and as an Inn, 10/10!

Truly wonderful B&B! The frontage was magnificent; the location was perfect; the coordination was great. A vastly memorable experience.Nearby activities: Walking distance to the square.Safety: Gated, locked entry, with observant guests.Walkability: Very close to the square, and walkable to associated amenities.

A really nice venue/bed and breakfast. The staff was quality too. It is a good place for more intimate relaxation.

We got married here over the weekend and it was phenomenal! Everyone is still talking about it and we had the best time. Meg and Sherry are so great to work with and the B&B staff were so friendly and helpful the next morning when all 8 rooms unloaded for breakfast before check-out. This place is so cute and unique, I just wish I had taken more pictures! I'd love to stay here again for our anniversary next year!Rooms: All 8 rooms have slightly unique vibes. The three downstairs rooms are more "modern" and generally larger, but all are comfy and enjoyable! The Alpharetta and Buckhead are most beautiful in my opinion, and the Castleberry has the most steps. The Westminster is the only dog friendly room.Nearby activities: It's within walking distance of downtown Marietta and the food hall, as long as you are able-bodied and have good shoes! There's a few breweries and tons of food options, but most of it closes around 11pm.Safety: This is very close to the county jail, which probably lends to keeping crime very low. The neighborhood is quiet.Walkability: It's walkable to downtown Marietta as long as you're able-bodied and in good shoes. It's also walkable to a Firehouse Subs, a food hall, and probably even Starbucks (~1 mile).Food & drinks: The weekend breakfast served was delicious!!Noteworthy details: This makes for a great place to have an intimate wedding! We were so pleased with our experience.

The venue was beautiful! Several areas to gather on the small property, very well laid out. Great for a smaller wedding, staff was very attentive.

This is my second or third stay and I decided to leave a review. I absolutely adore the beautiful room I stayed in. It’s so charming to stay in a room in the lovely Inn that’s 125 years old so much history must’ve happened here. There’s even a note that was discovered on premise from President Wilson aunt in 1896. The staff is quite lovely and the breakfast was delightful. They were setting up for a wedding the next day. I sure the bride and groom will stay married for a long time. There must be so many people that have been married here. It has very good feeling about it. Although we didn’t walk to the Square, our friend drove us down there and it was a delightfully short drive.

I think this functions better as an event space and would be a wonderful place to have a small wedding or other event. As a BNB, there are a few things that could be improved upon. It’s beautiful, decorated well, and clean. The location is within walking distance to Marietta Square which makes it the perfect place to spend a night or two away from the kids. The bed and linens are soooo comfy! There is no wine and cheese/hors d’oeuvre hour, but the room had a bottle of wine and snacks. Staff are all extremely friendly and their hard work is evident by the pristine condition of the building and grounds. Now the bad parts:( Our room was the same temperature as outdoors when we arrived (93 degrees according to car). After some back and forth with on call staff, it eventually lowered to 75 degrees by 1130pm. Still too hot to sleep comfortably. Ultimately, we carried a fan upstairs and my husband slept on the floor, nude, between the fan and door crack which created enough cool air flow that he could fall asleep at 330am. Being hot and tired will make you irritable so all of the usual BNB quirks that are endearing just made us more upset. The sink is in the room which is fine. But the light for the toilet is connected to the super bright lights over the sink. So you can either fumble in the dark to use the toilet or turn it on and light up the entire room, waking your partner who somehow was able to fall asleep. Just put a night light in the toilet room or softer bulbs over the sink. There is a nail sticking out of the floor which is not fun to step on at any time, but even less pleasant when you’re sleep deprived. We were told there would be a continental breakfast so we didn’t pack appropriate clothes for dining. We planned to just bring some coffee and muffins back to the room. But they actually did serve a hot breakfast, which would have been a nice surprise. But again, we were exhausted from lack of sleep. Instead of being happy, we were irritated that we didn’t bring clothing to wear for a sit down breakfast. We were given plastic forks which, again, wouldn’t normally bother us. But it was just so irritating that after such a terrible night, we had eat with a plastic fork. The breakfast was ok but no where near what we’re accustomed to at a BNB. We stayed here a while ago and breakfast was really good then. This BNB has a lot of potential and we would consider staying again when the weather is cooler just because Marietta Square is so close and we enjoy mini staycations there. But our expectations will be much lower to prevent the disappointment and frustration we experienced last night.Reply: Thank you for your reply! We called after hours at 658pm but there was no answer so we texted twice and there was no answer. We called again at 736pm and the lady said she would have someone fix it. We had gone to a restaurant to cool down by that time and when we returned around 9pm it was still very hot. We weren’t sure when someone came to fix it, so we waited until 1008pm to give it a chance to kick in. We were told there was a breaker issue that had to be fixed and to give it a while. We asked for a fan and were told we could fetch one from downstairs. We are totally understanding about how difficult it is to heat and cool these older homes, especially in extreme heat. But if there was another room available, why was it not offered? Especially considering the late hour. By 1130pm the thermostat was still registering 75 and we did not want to bother the on call staff. We figured they would be waking early to come to work the next morning. I take call for work myself, so I know how difficult it is to work on such little sleep. We will make note that this b&b is on the casual side so that we do not feel the need to dress up in the dining room. The nail is in front of the bench near the window. We usually find these quirks in old homes charming and understandable. But surely you can see how irritating it was to be hot, tired, woken by bright lights and then step on a nail?We look forward to returning and start over fresh!

Overall pretty good. We stayed here for our wedding weekend. Breakfast was disjointed both days and not promptly at the time told to us. On Saturday, our wedding day, while people were running around getting ready, they had MANY people coming through to see the space. I was under the impression that renting the entire place for the weekend meant no one else would be there. Not so. Pretty off-putting.

Had a lovely time at Stanely House Inn. It was easy to find using the GPS and perfect location as it was a 5 minute drive from the wedding I was attending.Check in was easy as they send the entry codes for the building and your room directly to you via text. The Inn was still set up for a wedding that had taken place the night before and I was the only guest during my short stay but it was still lovely.I fell in love with my room as it was spacious, the bed was huge and comfy, and most of all the clawed tub with the special Stanley House Inn bath soak was just what I needed to relax. The room also came with in room complimentary water, wine, and snacks.Breakfast was delicious and hearty, plus the manager was lovely to chat with during breakfast.I believe it's the perfect place to have some R&R.

I had my dream wedding at the Stanley House Inn! Everything was perfect - the venue, the hostesses/owner, the vendors recommended by the owner; everything excellent! The venue is absolutely lovely! The Victorian-styled bed and breakfast mansion is the perfect place to have a weekend wedding celebration. The Inn is very beautifully decorated. The rooms - oh they are beautiful! The bathrooms are recently renovated and have a little touch of modern. The venue and rooms look just like the photographs that are on the Inn’s website. The wedding pictures that we had taken there are so lovely! I hope that Meg and Sherry post on Facebook for everyone to see. We decided to marry outside, and the Inn has so many beautiful flowers, plants, trees and statues out in that front area where we were. The weather couldn’t have been better. The rehearsal dinner and reception were both indoors. The set up was great! Plenty of room for eating and dancing and having a good time. For the dinner tables, I chose the large crystal candlestick centerpieces provided by the Inn, and they were so pretty!I loved that we and our families were all able to stay at the Inn together. The Inn sleeps around fifteen to seventeen guests, I believe. We stayed there for two nights. We had our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception at the Inn. We had around 40 wedding guests. I really didn’t even have to leave the Inn while I was there! Basically everything you need is provided by the hostesses! They cooked the most delicious complementary breakfast for all the guests. The Inn is on the outskirts of Marietta Square, which is cool because it is not in the middle of the square’s commotion, but you can easily walk to the square for lunch and such. After the reception, we even walked down to the square to hang for a bit. Everyone had a ball, and they are still talking about the fun they had throughout the weekend! The hostesses, Meg and Sherry - what a dynamic duo! They were fabulous from the start of the process to the finish! I can’t give them enough props! They were very attentive and answered every email I sent them promptly. They were awesome during the rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception, and they kept me right on schedule throughout the normal craziness of a wedding. They are professionals! They are both very impressive, and you can honestly tell that they love what they do! I used most of the vendors that they recommended on their website, and everyone was great! Food, cake, florist and photographer; all did such a wonderful job!If I could change anything about any of it, I would change absolutely nothing, not a thing! Everything was just as I’d hoped and dreamed. We can’t wait to go back to the Inn to spend future anniversaries! Many, many thanks to Meg, Sherry and the Stanley House Inn team!

We absolutely love the Stanley house! We use them for our annual company holiday party and the staff absolutely love it. Beautiful atmosphere and outstanding service! We have stayed in almost every room and have enjoyed every one of them! I would leave 10 Stars if I could and look forward to our annual party and get away for 2022!
