I did a major renovation to my kitchen in 2021. They started strong and were very customer service friendly. Carolina was great to work with. There were a few hiccups but they got finished right before thanksgiving 2021. That’s when I made the mistake of making my final payment with just a couple of items remaining that I was assured would be done soon.There were some wall tiles and shelves to be installed. Then Carolina left and Britney was brought in. It has been over 18 months and they have yet to finish the shelves. I’m very patient and gave them multiple times to make this right. They never return calls and act as if I never gave them $125k to remodel the kitchen. After dozens of calls and texts unfortunately it looks like I’ll have to contact a lawyer.90% went very well. NEVER give them the final payment until the job is done.Service: Kitchen remodeling

We had a great experience working with our designer Mitch Wilson and the entire team at Southern Design & Remodeling. Mitch listened to our ideas and gave us many creative design options within our budget. He was easy to work with and provided a unified theme to our kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room. He also followed the overall design style of the house and all the remodeled rooms look stunning! We also enjoyed working with the office staff, project managers and contractors. I can’t recommend Southern Design & Remodeling enough. They created a stunning kitchen and bathroom for me! From the very first moment while talking with designer Lori Shedlock, I knew she would take my vision and bring it to a beautiful and perfectly functional reality. The team at SDR (including Princess Thompson and Brittany Lingerfelt) walked me through every step of what the process while including me in every single detail – large and small. They have such an eye for what is classic or trendy, and welcome all ideas and suggestions. What could have been a very overwhelming experience was instead clear, well organized, and really fun! The crews and contractors they work with are incredibly professional, trustworthy, timely and friendly. Having been in our 40 year old home for over 17 years, we have done many updates. I have to say that SRD was the greatest one to work with! Everyone on TEAM SDR worked so well together, from design, planning and execution. I now have my dream living area & kitchen. Taking 5 rooms and making them up one beautiful area WOW! Although I did not wind up hiring this company, I feel I need to submit a highly positive review because of the professional, transparent, and honest way they do business. This company specializes in beautiful kitchen make-overs which result in improved functionality and enhanced enjoyment of the space. The Southern Design representative who came to my home evaluated my needs and made several valuable suggestions. It turns out that my goals for my small kitchen project will be better achieved with a limited face-lift from an ordinary contractor. I was extremely impressed by the honesty of the assessment and the expertise of the representative. If a larger remodeling project comes up in the future, I will call this company right away.

We worked with the team at SDR for a complete kitchen remodel. We initially met with four different companies to review designs and loved SDR for Princess's outside of the box design. Everyone else suggested the expected simple design. She did an amazing job creating one large room and effectively using all of the space we had available. The functionality of our kitchen has improved dramatically. Lori and Princess were great to work with while going through design selections. I was able to show them what I was looking for and they helped me bring it to life. When we started the project I didn't believe it could be done in the short 4-6 week time frame given, but Ross and Ernesto were on top of things from start to finish and we were using our new kitchen after 5 weeks. The design team and contractors at SDR were excellent. The design exceeded our expectations. The project was finished ahead of schedule and on budget. We love our new kitchen and cannot say enough about the quality and professionalism of the entire team. You can always expect minor issues in any remodel project. I must say the minor issues were few and far between and resolved in an expeditious timeframe. We not only gained a beautiful and functional kitchen but new friends in the process.
