I went to this Sherwin-Williams because the Concord location (original purchase) did not have the paint I needed. I had already bought 5 gallons and needed more. They have to create the paint so I'm assuming something was out which makes the rest of this interesting. This location is very nice and the staff is present and helpful - a big difference between Concord. However, you cannot return paint if it is tinted which means it has color in it. This is even if it is unopened which was not communicated during any of my many purchases or over the phone when I called my order in. This doesn't make sense to me as I always called my paint in so I would assume I have to pay over the phone or be told if you don't pick it up, we will charge the previous card etc. As mentioned, I was unaware as it was not communicated when purchasing or during my order and the receipt has the same terms as any other purchase - receipt required to return items. It does not state anything about paint only peel and samples. They need to make a change and clearly state it. I would assume it would say non refundable as well. It is such a waste as I'll mostly have to take it to City of Smyrna Recycling most likely which SW should really be recycling their own paint / paint cans anyway. I recommend going to Lowe's as they are apparently the exclusive SW paint provider. Check their policy to see if you can return the paint before tinting etc

They don't have sample paints and getting alternatives take too long. The staff are super super nice!!!

Had a paint color selection crisis, mainly due to choosing the wrong spectrum of gray, and this store’s manager Colin was incredibly helpful in getting us a solution without having to buy all new paint. Definitely would recommend this spot and will be returning for any other paint selection needs I have in the future.
