Self Car Wash is an old-school, self-serve wand style car wash that is small, functional, and consistently works. It is one of the few such places left, appreciated for allowing time to clean certain areas and even the engine. The location is rarely crowded, well-maintained, and always full of soap, which is noted as a reliable feature. It is super affordable and perfect for a self wash, with everything needed available on site. Payment is straightforward: the wash area accepts cards and coins, with a rate of $2 for 4 minutes. There is a vacuum for $1.50 that requires quarters, but a change machine that accepts cards is available. A dispenser for towels and other interior detailing items is provided for those who forget supplies. A standout aspect is the involved and active owner, who is frequently noted for exceptional generosity. The owner regularly checks on the business, ensures everything is stocked, and passes out coins or tokens to extend washing time for customers. This personal touch, including helping with card readers or simply chatting, creates a positive and supportive experience. Customers report that the owner’s actions make them feel well-looked-after and committed to returning. The business is described as decent, though some note it could use some updating, but it is nonetheless a thriving small business that has been reliably serving customers since the 1990s. It is an excellent, recommended spot for anyone wanting to put a little work into washing their vehicle, avoiding the higher costs and memberships of automatic car washes.
Tesla looking clean 🫧 could use some restocking but overall great spot.

Go here sometimes to clean my car real quick whenever it gets dirty. Close to where l live so it's convenient, but some of the vacuums don't work, and for me to waste 1.50 and find out after is pretty upsetting, but other than that, the car wash is straight.
