Communication was amazing. Updates through pictures and texts letting us know where our pet was and how they were doing helped us feel confident they were very well taken care of. Would definitely use this company again!

Never thought I would send my precious dog Percy anywhere without me or someone he knows but Eric and Lester allayed my fears and delivered my precious cargo safe and sound. They transported him in a spotless minivan with the entire back section set up for the animal's comfort if they were traveling without a crate. Seeing that I knew this service was tailored for my dogs comfort. Brad was a terrific facilitator, professional and thorough and not like some of the reviews here state. Thank you Royal Paws for being to help me in an urgent situation and providing a wonderful service. I couldn't be more grateful.

I believe it was the owner Brad who answered my call. He was completely rude and unprofessional. I was trying to explain to him how I was just scammed but Citizenshipper and he basically told me that he didn't want to hear it. I can't believe people like this are in business.

If you have pets who respond to & trust only you please, please load them in the crates/carriers alone by yourself if possible in a calm, quiet environment. More than once I warned my driver that my 6 feral cats were difficult and was reassured that he had lots of experience with all cats. While both drivers were in the house loading 2 became especially scared & 1 escaped to the screened in porch. The woman ran out after her and the cat became so stressed & frantic that she lunged, broke through the screen & ran away. I'm devastated & heartbroken that I had to leave my home without her. Because I trusted these people I lost my precious 1 year old girl who I spent time, patience & love cultivating a gentle relationship with. I pray that she will find another person who will love her & give her a good home. I'm struggling with overcoming guilt about trusting strangers over my own experience & intuition and haven't stopped crying since it happened 2 days ago. The other 5 were transported & delivered without incident.

We are so pleased by the services provided by Royal paws ! Greg and his wife were so amazing and loving with our girl Sophie who has bad anxiety !!! They were excellent in updating us on our girl throughout the travel. Highly recommend this company to anyone and we will surely use them again in future when needed. Sadly, I have to add myself to the list of people who attempted to work with Royal Paws to move our pets and ended up receiving with poor communication, being given incorrect information, being hung up on, and having to start over from square one. Stay away! Unless you want to waste your time and deal with a massive headache... I got an estimate in July to move my mother-in-law's 8 cats and medium sized dog from Texas to California. The price and the services described sounded good. We're now ready to move forward with her move, and I called to get on their schedule (and get an updated estimate, in case their prices had changed). Brad informed me that his daughter created the estimate and had only been in the job for a few months and that they in fact aren't comfortable moving that many pets in a single vehicle. This would have been incredibly important information to have 4 months ago. As I was trying to get clarification whether he was saying they can't do the job or if it would just require a second vehicle, he called out "Have a nice day!" and hung up on me. So now we're in a total lurch. Definitely believe the negative reviews for this place. I wouldn't trust my beloved fur babies to this guy and feel like I dodged a bullet.

Brad and his team did a great job! Had my 2 dogs (one 100lbs, one 45lbs) transported cross-country and it was arguably the smoothest part of my move. Booking well in advance didn't hurt. The driver (Greg) not only coordinated well with the boarding kennel at the distant end but kept me up to date on the entire trip. I compared several well rated companies and am extremely happy I went with Royal Paws!

This was an amazing service. My dogs were so happy and the fact that they could travel in our own vehicle made this even better. Our drivers were wonderful and sent us pics so often. I would recommend these folks to anyone moving their dogs.

From booking with Brad, who was very patient and responsive, to delivery of 4 cats from FL to NY, this transport experience was excellent. My son needed to relocate from FL to NY in August 2020 - during the height of the pandemic. Liana and Vince arrived on time in FL and helped getting the kitties in carriers - two cats were feral. I received texts and pictures multiple times of the days which was very reassuring. A couple of times, Liana coaxed the two reluctant house kitties out of their carriers to stretch their legs. They arrived in NY 2 hours early and I am just amazed that such caring people provide a service like this. I would not hesitate to recommend this company - it was stressful enough entrusting these pets with any company and luckily we chose wisely.

Brad has a horrible demeanor and poor communication skills. He can't remember what he's said to you, and doesn't follow through with his commitments. I was very excited to use this service, but Brad is abrasive and isn't the image he portrays. In the end, it was good that he didn't follow through as I can't imagine the animals would have been treated well unless he wasn't the one driving them. I would search far and wide before using Royal Paws.

TL:DR - If I could give below zero stars, I would. The owner, Brad, is an abrasive, incompetent, un-empathetic individual toward his employees, customers, and the animals being transported. He doesn't hide the fact that he keeps 80% of the booking fee and pays his drivers 20% (10% each). In exchange for that, he rents a car that has "unlimited mileage", has his teams drive thousands of miles in a matter of days, then has them return the car back to the same rental location (in our case, rented in FL, drove to CA, then dropped the car back in FL). The purpose of this is to not own any vehicles, and instead to abuse rental car agencies - of course no one is going to lose sleep over car rental agencies getting kicked in the you know what, however fundamentally it's just bad form (and potentially even illegal when done purposefully). Not my/our problem as customers, but a datapoint about Brad/RP nonetheless. During the state of emergency in Texas this month (Feb 2021), Brad insisted on sending his drivers and our dog into the heart our the disaster (there was no power, clean water...people were on a boil notice, and we were personally not going to make it in time to receive our dog because the airports themselves were closed. It wasn't as simple as our flight was cancelled, the airports were straight up closed. No access whatsoever). Despite our offer to pay for hotels short of the destination, and the drivers having no job/need to be back in Florida where they had rented their "SUV"...which by the way was a Subaru station-wagon (hardly the "luxury suv or van" advertised by Royal Paws), the decision was to press forward. It was a reckless, poor one. Ultimately, a very kind acquaintance offered to help us in receiving our dog, despite not having water at her home and being in an emergency of her own. All doggie hotels were not accepting pets. Two days after our dog arrived, we received a call from Brad asking for $300. He began making up facts (including that we delayed our dog's departure which is factually incorrect, the drivers came at 11 am instead of 8 am at their own volition, which we have the messages to prove). Needless to say, I put this bully in his place with the facts. Before we even got started, Brad was an obnoxious character on the phone, but we were in a bit of cram time-wise (or so we thought...turned out we wouldn't be able to go to Texas in the first place because of the state of emergency). His style was very much "take it or leave it, I'm busy". Bottom line, if you don't care about dealing with a dishonest, bully business owner and poor conditions for your pet, Royal Paws should be totally adequate. If that's not your thing, I highly recommend giving your pet and business to someone else.

Royal Paws - and especially Liana and Reggie - went beyond expectations transporting our cats across the country. I was very nervous about them as they are not good travelers, crying and hiding on the way to the vet. Before being loaded into the car, Liana spent some time getting to know the cats and they seemed very comfortable the whole way, even when they ran into bad weather and traffic. Not only did the seem to adjust well to the ride, instead of hiding at their new home, they carried their new attitudes and adjusted well here too. I seriously can't recommend them enough and would give a lot more stars if I could. I wholeheartedly recommend them and will definitely use them whenever I need to transport pets.

I am so glad I chose Royal Paws Pet Transportation for moving my cat from Texas to Maine! I was really nervous about pet transportation at first, but the staff was very professional and reassuring. They kept my cat very safe all the way and they constantly let me know the progress on the trip. If I ever need to move my cat again, I will definitely use Royal Paws! Special thank you to Wade and Keith for the safe drive and Brad for all of the help with explaining paperwork and the transportation process!
