Disorganized. No communication when your medication is ready. Used the pharmacy once and never using it again.

This is my go to Publix and the overall store is great but I will NEVER get a sub from the deli based on what I experienced a few months ago. Some of the other reviewers have commented on a female deli associate who's extremely slow and easily distracted. I'm pretty sure that's the same person I dealt with because in the amount of time it took her to make me 1 6-inch chicken tender sub, the other deli associate made like 4 12-inch subs. It should not take 20 minutes to make a 1 6-inch sub. But what was truly disturbing is the glove situation. With the gloves she put on to make my sandwich, I watched her handle multiple cabinets- including the cabinet they use to store a trash bin- multiple times. She was touching various countertops throughout the deli, and handled the meat slicer, all with the same gloves. She then used those same gloves to make my sandwich. The other deli associate, though much faster, was still handling that cabinet with the trash bin with the same gloves he was using to make subs. It's like they don't understand, when you change gloves for each customer, you're not supposed to literally touch everything in the back of the deli with those same gloves (including where trash is stored) then turn around and make someone a sandwich. There needs to be serious retraining on glove hygiene at this Publix deli.

Would give less ..their Pharmacist is aweful. I watched them make a gramma with a 4 yr old wait an hour just to mark the script in. Then another 45 mins to give it to her. It was for amoxicillin and I was the only other person there. The Pharmacist is terrible.

the deli department where they make your subs are very very talkative and get so distracted and they never change their gloves. they have the same gloves on after putting different types of meat. it's disgusting

Interior / ExteriorLike most Publix stores - this store serves as the anchor store for the plaza. Fun fact - if you see a Publix store in a Plaza, 99% of the time Publix actually owns the plaza and the other businesses just lease space in the plaza. Parking is 'ok' but it can be a struggle between peak hours (noon - 1:30pm and 5 - 6:30pm). Customer ServiceEveryone knows - this is where Publix shines! Even when I was younger and rarely ventured into Publix, I was always taken aback when I asked a store associate where I could find an item and they insisted on escorting me over to the actual product instead of just saying, 'aisle 7.' On the one hand, I felt like they were treating me like a I was a doddering little old lady that couldn't be trusted to find it on my own and I felt guilty for taking them away from their tasks. But on the other hand, I was super impressed. Now - I'm just happy that they're saving me time from having to wander down the aisle looking for the product because I'm pretty much always in a rush thanks to my 1,000 jobs and family commitments. Value / PriceOne of the reasons I put off shopping at Publix for the longest time is because I always heard they were pricey. I have to say, compared to Walmart and Kroger, they are pricier - but if you stick to the sales flyer (which I do) / wait until your favorites go on sale to stock up and stick to purchasing produce and dairy versus a bunch of pre-packaged convenience foods, your wallet will be ok. ;-) Other / OverallEveryone raves about the subs and the fried chicken. I've never had the fried chicken but I can tell you the chicken tender sub and the Boar's Head Ultimate sub are my favorite subs. Full stop. That's including dedicated sandwich shops. If you're in the mood for something healthy and don't feel like cooking, they will still bake salmon, steam crab legs, etc with old bay, lemon pepper or other seasonings - but the deli now has baked chicken tenders as well! The reason I decided to write an update is because last weekend I was running all over the place trying to find a Kroger that a) still had someone working in the meat dept licensed and trained to operate a bone saw and / or b) actually still had a bone saw - and lo & behold - Publix had a bone saw, along with a meat finisher that was licensed and trained to cut meat with a bone it. And icing on the cake - the cut was on sale! And unlike Kroger, they were willing to take my order of the phone and let me come pick my order up at my convenience. They really saved the day!Great job Publix!PS - Lest I sound like a 'paid shill' or fake reviewer ... under the 'nobody's perfect' category ... Let me just say, I don't love the fact that after having the Glacier / Primo machine out-of-order for months (and I finally contacted Primo and they claimed to have no knowledge of any issues and 3 days later the machine was magically fixed) - they moved machine to the pharmacy. Some locations stick the machine in the 'foyer' near the carts. Some put it outside. Some put in near the restrooms. I get it - there is no 'great' place for it. But for a germaphobes or people with weak immune systems - I'm sure being stuck, waiting for your bottles to fill, so close to the pharmacy can be a little anxiety inducing. The last time I was there - I was re-filling one '5-gallon' jug and six '1-gallon' jugs. There was a Mom with 3 little kids - all insanely adorable and filled with energy. But that's not all they were full of. Their noses and chests were also full of snot & mucus. They kept running over to, talking and asking me questions about my purse and my toes, telling me various things about themselves - and even tugging my dress to get my attention if I didn't respond quickly enough because I was shuffling bottles in and out of the cart. I sent a little prayer up to the heavens that the runny noses were allergies and not colds. Lol.

They always have turkey parts, which are now usually hard to find at anytime during the year.

Pharmacy, what in the heck is up these days? Scripts should have been ready days ago, I drive out of my way to pick them up today and you are waiting on a shipment and you have no clue when that shipment will come! This has been the case the last several months. It is not just me. Other customers in line are complaining. Now I am out of blood pressure meds and I am ready to transfer my scripts to another store. Ugh! I used to get a text when my scripts were ready. And if I transfer my scripts to another store, I will be done with Publix forever.

I have been shopping here for two weeks. I get great customer service and happy to spend my $1300 a month here than Walmart where they need to learn a thing or two.

This pharmacy is awful. I like this Publix store in general but the Pharmacy has got to get it's act together.I put in a refill for 2 common medications on Monday. On Thursday, I call them because nothing is updated online. I waited 20 minutes on hold for them. When I finally get someone and ask about my medication, they tell me they will get them ready that day. This is the second time since moving here that they won't fill medications *until you call*. NO OTHER PHARMACY DOES THIS. They fill it when you order online!I then show up to the counter. The whole interaction took about 30 minutes. There was a poor woman waiting in front of me. The two pharmacists (old guy and even older girl) were audibly complaining about the manager out loud, because she was asking them to pick up the phone over the intercom. None of them interacted with us while they talked to each other.I do not know why taking the person in front of me's order took half an hour (probably because they ignore online refill requests) but they finally get it together and the customer has to complain again because they are ringing it up wrong. Finally (after 30 mins!) the older lady calls for help and someone else comes to ring me up.Because of the whole interaction, I nearly missed a flight and was boarding as they were calling for last call for passengers. I do not understand why this pharmacy is so bad compared to any other Publix one i've dealt with in my life. Please fix this!

This pharmacy used to be good but have gone downhill steadily in recent months. Long lines, disorganized, can't find medications. I am very dissatisfied.

Customer Service - Carpet Machine Rental: I was wildly overcharged (I got a $400 refund). When she told me the total, I asked if that was correct because it seemed ridiculous. After making the payment, I walked to the display with my receipt to confirm I was wildly overcharged. I understand how the mistake happened because I was only supposed to have it one day, and she just gave me the one day rate for every extra day. but the least you could do is apologize after almost taking $400 extra from me. Also, realized she didn't give me the copy of the original receipt, she kept it and just gave me the refund receipt - I wanted to double check everything but I'm just gonna call it a day

It's always a pleasure coming to this Publix. I've been living in this area since 2001. This places has always had a good reputation to me. I love going to the deli to get the chicken tender salads. The workers are also always nice. I love how they give disabled people a chance to work & feel noticed & needed!
