I had a crazy changing year last year and avoided doing my taxes. I tried on my own and have been doing it for 10 yrs, but since I'm a new 1099'r, I had no idea how to work it. Long story short, I reached out to P&C, and Jackie contacted me and gave me a list of items to prepare for our initial visit. Once they were done, I came out better than I thought I would, and when it was finished, Hubert called me personally to walk me thru the finished product. He answered all my questions, and I will be returning to him EVERY year from now on! Highly recommend!

My taxes were completed and supposed to have been submitted on June 22, 2022 when I paid my bill for tax filings.I went to the IRS website to check the status of my return around the end of July and couldn't find it, so I reached out via email August 3rd for a status update and was assured my taxes were filed and that the IRS was behind and that was why my return was not appearing as having been received by the IRS.I received a call on August 11th where I had to PROVE I made payment on June 22nd, was told my taxes had not been submitted and they would be filed on that date.On August 15th, I got a second call back (same individual) requesting payment AGAIN for filling my taxes. On this call, I indicated my frustration at the process; the fact that my taxes should have been sent to the IRS on June 22nd and seemed to be confused over whether or not my taxes were submitted as promised on August 11th.I was assured that my taxes were filed on August 11th, and I was able to confirm this on the IRS website finally.I paid $500 for this very poor service and would honestly like a partial refund for this very, very inconvenient process and hope someone is paying attention to these reviews. IF my taxes had been filed as originally indicated on June 22nd, then I would have already had my refund in hand; and yet I am still waiting for it to process. At least I was able to confirm with the IRS that my taxes had been filed.Your office staff needs to be more organized than this!

I needed some major help filing back taxes and Pereira and Company were thoughtful, helpful, professional and able to help me receive all the refunds I was due. I needed to file out of state taxes, too, and they were able to help me get everything current! The fees were reasonable and they were able to get everything done and filed in a very timely manner!

Waited 30min for an appointment I scheduled weeks in advance and the accountant never showed up. They even called and confirmed!! Overheard the recepcionist call him and he didnt even look at his calendar. Apparently he has a habit of this. Someone that unorganized should not be trusted with your taxes. Definitely feel like I dodge a bullet by getting to see the firms true colors before it was too late.

Hubert Pereira and his team, especially Andrew, are absolutely fantastic. We needed help with our business returns, and we were so impressed, we asked them to do our personal returns as well. They are knowledgeable, but even more impressive, they make themselves very accessible. We could ONLY meet on Saturdays, and they accommodated our schedule each and every time, on top of their rapid response to phone calls and/or emails.They also offered stellar advice and patience when it came to resolving disputes between my business partner (husband) and myself. They did the appropriate research on any items we questioned and explained the pros and cons of any decision we needed to make.They have my continued business and my gratitude.Tina Santos

Hubert Pereira did an amazing job!! I was dealing with a new tax situation and was absolutely clueless as to how to file my taxes this year. He took the time to explain the filing and made to process extremely simple. Then after preparing this years taxes I was in the process of purchasing a home and caught a mistake on my taxes from the previous year, he not only calmly resolved my issue he did it at a moments notice due to the time constraints of my pending closing. High quality service provided in a very short amount of time, making filing a tax return much less painful that it can be using other accounting professionals.
I really recommend Pereira CPA and his team! I worked with Hubert and he was fabulous solving all my doubts!
