If you're looking for anything pool-related -- lessons, aerobics, lap swimming -- the aquatic center is an excellent resource. Cobb County residents reap a discount, and if you're a senior, you'll save even more!I was curious when I noticed a change of address from Gordy to Hong Way. Is there a new center?! Nope. Same ol', same ol', just a new street name. The water aerobics classes I take are excellent and led by three certified instructors, each with her own technique. You can do the shallow water class in the heated pool or deep water, in the lap pool. (The deep is a more intense workout, and culminates with stretches in the other pool.)There are locker rooms, showers, and always a lifeguard on duty. Check Mountain View's website for closures. (Various swim meets are held here.) One last tip: classes, particularly in the shallow pool, are popular. Once 30 people sign-in, others are turned away, so arrive early!

Glad they are open til 8 during the mid week! Cobb one closes too early! There's no mountain view and also bc the shallow pool is way too warm. Also also there was no access to the ladder on the deep end as some of the lanes were blocked off for maintenance. Had to have them remove the lane thing so I could get across to the ladder. Will keep coming here to improve my skills! Staff is nice and locker room is roomy.

We wanted to do a membership, however 2 weeks in the pool has been closed due to swim team for 4 out of 5 days. For the price of the yearly membership we've only had access for 2 days, out of 10 open days. It's a money pit, and the availability is not what they claim

Really nice pools. The showers are a bit old but still well worth the price.

I love coming here to swim and they have convenient showers, lockers and restrooms. My only complaints are that the family swim pool are not open frequently enough and it's kind of strange to me that they have such short hours on Saturday & closed on Sunday when the weekends are typically when people are the most free to do activities like this.

It’s a very good swim place, but the chlorine is definitely a problem worth solving.

Huge aquatic center, 22 lanes. I've come here for several high school swim meets and the pool, lane markers, and starting blocks are all in excellent, well maintained shape. My two complaints are that the restrooms/locker rooms look perpetually dirty. I'm sure they're not, but the constant water on the floor from the swimmers combined with the age of the floor/lockers/stalls make them look less than clean. Also, the amount of chlorine in the air is enough to burn my eyes and singe my nose. I'm not able to smell properly for several hours after spending an entire meet here.

I have been coming here about 3 months attending the water aerobics classes 3-4 mornings a week to get some strength back after an injury. I love the three instructors that are there for my classes, ea one different and fun in every class.
