Pharmacy review- 0 STARS- just had a HORRIBLE experience picking up medication for my young son! The window personal who gave me the medication asked if my son had allergies I said yes and told her what- she said well he could have a reaction- this caught me off guard so I asked her for more information on what could happen and why. She immediately got loud and said well your son can go into anaphylactic shock from having a allergic reaction & doesn't his DR know about his allergies right?!?! Yes I said- Then she said- WELLL SHEEEE prepared this AND if he has a problem then you'll know he can't handle it! I asked her to explain - she walks off says LOUDLY I'm not doing all that- I asked for clarification- another person walks to window He calmly explains in detail what's going on with why this could adversely impact him- he was detailed and gave me a better understanding- the entire time he's talking she is STARING at me with a look of disgust. I told him that she should be more mindful of the way she speaks with customers- she JUMPED the corner bc she was literally right there and said SAY THAT TO MY FACE!!!! So I did- I told her she needs to be more patient and polite considering she's dealing with humans and peoples children. My child has an allergy that caused him to go to the ER as a infant and she said LIKE I CARE!! WOW CVS JUST WOW!! Employee was AA heavy set woman with colorful braids!! SHE DOES NOT NEED TO BE EMPLOYED WITH THIS COMPANY! I will be filing a complaint with HR - the pharmacy manager & CVS corporation consideration she didn't care less if my son went into anaphylactic shock due to poor explanation of medicine. She literally could've cared absolutely less and was extremely rude loud threatening and ghetto. Absolutely unnecessary. I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism.

Your pharmacy shouldn't look like a concert line. CVS made their decision to close a location that had one of the highest prescription orders in the area (their plaques on display say so) so people could choose to go to one of their other locations. The original was a Halloween express - super awesome for property value - thanks makers of community. They never staffed up at the new one. You can tell. The staff is stressed and dismissive. Own up to the idea you want less customers. And less employee satisfaction. I've made my decision based on yours. Close the convenient location and slam two together and think you are going to get the same business? Not from this guy. Ps. I'm also the guy that shops the high margin aisles. But the experience matters and this ain't it. Ps I got though the line and they restocked my rx. The reason - "yeah technology and I'm too busy tonight so you'll have to come back tomorrow. The same technology that said "your order is ready for pickup". Go figure. I feel for the pharmacy workers here until others go elsewhere. Been a loyal (silly to say) CVS guy for a long time too. I didn't blow the winds of change. They blew em and blew the opportunity.

Scheduled my first of two shingles vaccine doses here. This location has reasonable parking and is on the corner of busy J Ferry and L Roswell. There is a minute clinic too. Remember to electronically check in when you arrive. They are busy otherwise filling online prescriptions and probably won't notice you in the seating area. I made this mistake and waited 10 minutes extra. The store is clean, well kept. Staff are courteous and helpful. That first dose tho oh my arm hurt for a good day or two. They have snacks and drinks here too but not enough to make a meal out of it, but across the street in any direction there are many food options here.

Seen a little past appointment time(25 minutes),11:10(/11:35) but besides this, excellent service. Nurse- Practitioner Caroline Bowness was very personable/friendly, doing a thorough examination and giving me just what I needed, while the Korean Pharmacist (was so shy&modest, requested her name not be mentioned) also provided me with a very positive medical experience. Hooray, bravo to CVS!

This is the WORST CVS pharmacy I have ever dealt with! They claim they don't get prescriptions that were sent in, they are incredibly slow, even with three people behind the counter, and if you try to call, they leave you on hold forever. Avoid this location at all costs!

This is the worst pharmacy I've even been to. I've had a problem every time I've been there. The pharmacists are completely unhelpful & they actually lied to me. They claimed they faxed my doctors office, which they did not, and then they claimed they called the doctors office 4 times and no one answered. I know for a fact that that office has 3 receptionists and I called them twice the same day & my calls were always answered. Then they were so rude when I told them that was highly unlikely. I've taken all of my prescriptions away from them & going to Walgreens. The 1 star I gave is because they're next to a Trader Joe's.

Doesn't seem to value customers time much at this location in the Minute Clinic. Would not recommend. Did not seem too knowledgeable.

Every time I call the pharmacy, their line hangs up on me. I have just tried 12 times without being able to reach a staff member. They keep refilling prescriptions when I have told them NOT to refill anything unless I contact them. This pharmacy is an enormous nightmare. They also give me the wrong drug, the wrong number, and prescriptions for another customer. Aren't there laws regulating pharmacies in this state? How can a pharmacy be so horrible? I have tried switching, but unfortunately my insurance is tied to CVS.

I usually have no issue with service at this location as I work right next to it and frequent this place often. (Shout out to Job & the other gentleman who always compliments my glasses)Today I stood in line for 15 minutes to buy two sprites that were on sale for 2/$3. Her refusal of help to her employee was a bit shocking as the others I've seen are always eager to help and get customers in and out as quickly as possible. They rang up incorrectly and the employee asked the manager to do an override (with attitude) she asked "an override for what?" The employee explained- she told her to start again and try to do my CVS card first then ring up the sprites. When it didn't work, she told the manager that it wasn't ringing up correctly again and the manager said with an attitude "just override it then if it didn't work". The employee obviously didn't know how to do this as my total doubled and then tripled and then she figured out how to do it after asking the manager how to override the price. Now sprite is seriously not an issue for me since it's soda and not that big of a deal but I work in customer service and the managers attitude as well as physical presentation was lacking. She did not look clean, she looked annoyed and honestly you could feel tension between both the employee and manager as well as the line of people standing behind me. Instead of helping other customers while she waiting for an older gentleman to work out his money gram she sat there and waited about 5 minutes for him to return to the counter. Efficient service is always on an equal field as pleasant service. She was neither efficient or pleasant. I'm giving 3 stars only because my visits to CVS (with other employees) are usually great, I'm in and out! This team was sub par and I feel bad for the young woman having to work with the manager.

This applies to the location at 687 Johnson Ferry Road in Marietta, Georgia. I made an appointment online for the Minute Clinic in the store. That process was fantastic, I checked in when I arrived and was placed in the queue according to my appointment time and was seen immediately. I had an extremely painful infection, and the Nurse Practitioner manning the clinic told me a huge benefit of going to the CVS Minute Clinic is that if you need medicine, it is waiting for you at pharmacy to pick up when you leave. She called the pharmacy to request the medicine and no one answered the phone. She got up and walked over to the pharmacy to tell them they are supposed to pick up when they see it is their own clinic calling. She tried to give them the prescription and they waived her away telling her to leave it on voicemail. She apologized to me that the people working the pharmacy were not following the right procedure. She left a voicemail for the prescription and we finished the other elements of my appointment. When I walked over to pick up my prescription, I waited for 10 minutes while the 3 staff members chatted amongst themselves, one complaining she felt hot then cold because she is sick. When someone finally came over, they informed me they didn't have a prescription for me. I explained the process I had witnessed, and the person said, "well, we don't have it." Meanwhile, a voicemail notice of multiple messages waiting kept going off. I suggested they listen to their messages, since I witnessed the NP call in the prescription. No one did. After waiting another 15-20 minutes, buckled over in pain standing at their counter, one of the 3 workers -- none of whom appeared at all busy or rushed -- decided to call the clinic office. Not sure why, since I also had already shown them the paperwork and the NP had left a voicemail for them. As I waited, I observed them tell several others they either didn't have the medicine they needed in stock, or didn't have a prescription the person said their doctor had called in. While there is some comfort in knowing it's not just me, I would not attend this location's Minute Clinic again, despite a very positive experience with the NP, because the pharmacy staff is clearly not on board with fulfilling the promise of a smooth and speedy process from seeing the doctor and receiving your medicine. In addition, all 3 workers appeared bored to tears being there, had no sense of urgency in figuring out how to proceed with filling my prescription, and were bordering on hostile in their interaction with me when I shared that the NP had said having the pharmacy right there for turnkey and speedy medicine pickup was a value of attending the CVS Minute Clinic. They also seemedto have no empathy for other customers they turned away because they didn't have what they needed interacting with all in a bored, detached fashion.
